No shit. That's because teams time waste like a motherfucker against United when they are in front.
BTW, I saw Sky Sports news yesterday and they said last season games involving United had less time added on than any other team in the Premier League.

Re: The association football 2009/10 thread...
Sleazy, on Fox soccer channel last night they broke it down and said Bellendamy celebrated for 55 secs after he scored and Carricks substitution added another 30. Owen scored on 95 mins and 37 secs or something. We don't know how many seconds after 4 mins the ref was going to add, as the 4 mins show...

I wonder what the racist comment Diouf made to the ball boy at Goodison the other day? He probably called him a scouse bastard or something.

Bollocks, Sleazy. Apparently Bellamy scored on 89 mins 50 something secs and the game wasn't restarted until 92 mins were on the clock. Then you have 4 mins of stoppage time. BTW, whatever is held up by the 4th official is the minimum to be played, not maximum. I wonder what people would have been s...

Can United hold on for the last few minutes?
How much longer can Fergie keep faith with Foster? He dropped Jim Leighton for making clangers.

Re: The association football 2009/10 thread...
Really. Was the game abandoned because of this incident? If it was, if the player had not gone down would it have been abandoned and thus, replayed? Sounds dodgy to me. Not that I care about Celtic. don't think the game was abondoned. i think rapid vienna made a complaint, but don't quote me on it....

I remember seeing Everton own Rapid in the Cup winners cup final in 85. That was a good Everton side back then. 3 days later United exacted revenge for Rapid in the FA cup final. Of course, thanks to the ban neither United or Everton could play in Europe the next season. rapid actually played celti...

I also like how the van turned into a tour bus. Next, instead of touring dives for no money, it'll be touring arenas opening for Led Zeppelin.

To be fair to City, Robinho and Tevez were both injured for the Arsenal match.
I read some match reports and they reckon Arsenal were in control until the stamp and then Ade's goal went in. If Ade had been sent off for the stamp then the game could have ended up differently.

Big derby, which is probably why Brum upped their ticket prices. They'll probably do the same when the big 4 come to town. Missed all the action this weekend as I the wife took me down to the New Hampshire coast for a couple of days. Was surprised to see Uniteds result, and the way it was achieved. ...

Business Development for an IT firm. IT got hit hard last year and a lot of people are out of work. Last winter my company had to let a few developers go that supported a technology that isn't in demand but fortunately we have a nice niche so the people still with the company have stayed busy, albe...

Yes, I work for a furniture company and we had to cut down to 4 days a week for a while.
What also happened is that management finally had to run the place like a business.

Very lucky win for United today. Arsenal were easily the better team. I don't really blame any poor performance on the defence as VDS and Rio are missing. I also think Rafael is our best right back. And United weren't horribly overrun in defence. Rooney was fighting a lone furrow upfront, and playin...

Anderson says he wants to stay and fight for his position. Fergie played him out wide against Burnley, which was retarded. When you play players that are in and out of the team, or whose form is up and down you at least should play them in their proper position when you do give them a chance. And th...
