Don't like it. As a drummer, all of the drums sound programmed. You've lost the original feel.

To me, the lack of interest now is that every band is running tracks in some form or another. I don't want to pay to see a band miming to pre-recorded audio.

I was there last night. Slayer was great! And Halestorm got a great reaction from the crowd. But why does Pantera play every song so slow? They are literally slower than the original record. And all Phil kept talking about was how old he is, blah blah. I was less than impressed.

Actually not too bad. The biggest problem I have is they've had to dumb down Vince's melodies and singing.

On a larger scale, I'd put KIX in that category.

I'll argue on the flipside that Alice Cooper has somehow managed to age gracefully continuing to do what he does. Where as KISS started to look ridiculous, Alice has stayed cool and for whatever reason doesn't look like a shallow copy of himself.
