All Along the Watchtower for sure. Another Dylan cover I also like a lot is the Byrds Mr. Tambourine Man. Ace's New York Groove has a sentimental place in my heart.

Re: Strong album / poorly attended tour

Lick It Up COTN I always liked Creatures alot and LIU has its moments. I saw both tours. Creatures was a great show (they had pre-Shout Motley opening) and filled (or came close to filling) the SF Civic in April '83. Less than a year later in February '84, the LIU show sold so poorly in SF that the...

I heard Metal Health on KRQR one night as I was going to sleep and got it the next day. I didn't even know the name of the band at the time, I just asked for the "bang your head song".

I saw Y&T last Thursday in Pasadena. I'm a Bay Area native and Y&T was a big part of my youth. I've seen them at least 40 times; everywhere from the Keystone to Day On The Green. It's been close to a decade since the last time I saw them and Dave's still totally brings it but I will say I did miss P...

I've always wanted an Alive II misprint but wouldn't pay more than like $40 for a copy.

Bon Jovi opening for Priest in '86. A few weeks before the release of Slippery and things going BOOM! I saw Bon Jovi open for RATT at the Cow Palace in like 1985. I seem to recall during the intro for You Give Love a Bad Name or some song from the "new album" that Jon Bon Jovi said "this is the las...

just a Batman geek I remember you posting some cool Batman stuff in the childhood toys thread. The game looks pretty cool. I'll probably pick it up. In the latest Batman Telltale game episode, they introduced a vigilante version of the Joker that wants to be like Batman, but in that psycho, maniacal, chaotic Joker way. Re: STARVING TO DEATH ... What's your typical Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner meals daily, weekly. Add your Late Night snack

Typical day: 11am-ish - Pot of coffee. Keeps my appetite at bay. 6 pm-ish - Main meal of the day - usually beef, pork or chicken with some sort of bread. Maybe potatoes, rice or noodles. 9 pm-ish - Dessert/snack - Ice cream or shake. Believe it or not, that's about it these days. I'm down to my hig...
