I was really into Pump but Get A Grip just didn't work for me. The rap intro and those ballads that blend together.

Ever stop liking Aerosmith?

Was there a point where you just couldn't get into them anymore? I remember being excited for Get A Grip and not being into it. The GAP commercials kinda sucked as well.

There have been plenty of high profile atheists that have criticized Islam. They need to hire bodyguards.

Re: Atheists just as bad.....

There are atheists who go through a period where they are angry and trying to get revenge on religious people. I used to be into some aggressive groups on the internet but that got boring after a while. Now, I don't really care what people do as long as they aren't trying to convert me.

Modem recommendations for Comcast

I received a message from Comcast recently saying my modem is out of date and I may not be able to get the fastest speeds. Most of the time I don't have any issues with my internet speed but I'd like to start planning. Any recommendations from you folks?

They should release it only on vinyl and magnetic tape. Get back to simplicity.

Re: What is the best Jon Bon Jovi "Cowboy" song?

Bon Jovi was good at repeating what worked for them in the past. They got their Livin' on a Prayer type song in Born to Be My Baby and their cowboy songs on the other side.

I've tried to listen to them off and on and the songs just didn't click with me. Musicianship is great though.

Re: Oz Fox Hospitalized

Did Tim Gaines say something about getting paid 12 grand a year as a base when he was a Stryper member? Maybe Oz has something similar so if he's not playing shows then he's not gettin squat. If is income is that low then maybe he could qualify for free healthcare from the state.

I remember some church groups warning us about certain bands promoting Satanism. It was very rare that you'd hear about anyone seriously into Satanism. Even people who were into Deicide, and Black Metal, were just doing it out of rebellion usually.

Some of it still holds up and some of it doesn't. I may like only a couple songs from certain albums now when I liked most of them when I was a teen.

It was used in daveg's post.

No. I don't think it's a good idea to make up some invisible being to explain why something unusual happened. How would you confirm it's a ghost anyway?
