I think they’re popularity in Europe has helped their longevity and allowed them to keep making albums.
I don’t think they tour often, but their catalog of music is pretty solid. Great mix of anthemic rock tracks and well arranged ballads.

Based on Bret’s dumb Parti gras tour and how he doesn’t really identify as an aging hair metal singer, I could see them teaming up with or having an opener that isn’t a sludge band. Virtually nobody from that era wrote or if they did they had producers fix a lot of shit. Not a damn one of them has written shit since 2000. I think Jon and Richie can write a bit. Joe and Phil probably contributed a fair amount. A few others guys may have fed ideas or parts of songs to a team but...
