Re: What are your overall thoughts on Bon Jovi?
The first 4 albums all have their moments.
The only thing they’ve done since that did anything for me was “Dry County.”
Sambora is their MVP, despite his faults.

Badlands reunion! Who can be the singer? Mattley, funny Badlands story for you. I was sitting w/ Jake on the MORC one night and asked him his "favorite Jake E Lee" riff, like if he was a 3rd person, and he chuckled and said that he loved Hard Wire. I told him no, that Jake E Lee's best ri...

There's something really off about some rando who's never done anything joining a band with the biggest superstars in rock and having the balls to call himself "Huge". The name is almost certainly pronounced "Yuge". It's even worse, he invented his own pronunciation: Paul Edward...

Thanks for posting. Jake sighed a bit in the beginning of SITD, wonder if it had to do with Draiman coming in early. Jake coming in late was done on purpose. Pull up old interviews of Jake talking about Sharon preaching to him to be more punctual. Jake is late for everything. Doesn't look too bad c...

Re: Is Joe Perry the worst interview subject ever?
Joe is the rock star and Brad is the musician. I once asked NiteBob (Aerosmith’s sound guy for years) why Perry got so much more credit, when Whitford played his share of leads, and co-wrote quite a few good songs with the band, in their 70s era. His answer: “Well, that’s all true, but Joe sold it.”

Re: Revisiting Def Leppard’s Adrenalize
I don’t think Steve had a behavior problem like Pete though, he was a nice guy and got a long with the others even when he was going too far with his addictions. I also think that Steve was more important to the band’s songwriting than Pete, despite his own fairly substantial contributions to the f...

He pretty much said he wrote almost everything on Under Lock and Key. Pilson's reaction to hearing that was pretty funny. What’s even better is when an interviewer asks him to clarify such claims, and then he follows up with something to the effect of, “Well…I wrote all the hits.” Then they ask abo...

Tonight and White Lightning are good songs.
The rest of it, you can keep.
Let’s Get Rocked is an abomination of a song, with an even shittier video.
I never bought another Def Leppard album again after seeing that video, until I bought Retroactive, years later.

I've been listening to RATT a bit for the last couple of weeks and have half-assed learned a few of their songs as well. It's left me wondering, how good of a guitarist was Robbin? I Want a Woman is certainly one of the big reasons "Hair Metal" went by way of the 8-track tape. Nirvana was the final nail, but without Poison and Warrant kicking their legs in unison like the Rockettes and once respectable bands like RATT coming out with this drivel, Nirvana may not hav...
