Re: Anything (music-related) we can ALL agree on? (...or most of us)

I think we might see some ADKoT votes there, unfortunately. I don't understand either. We live in a broken society. You're probably correct, but I can't imagine a world, where someone with ears that function, thinks that VHIII is better than ADKOT. I'm sure there are some Extreme fans who prefer or...

Flo & Eddie sang back ups on everything from Alice Cooper , RAMONES , Springsteen to Zappa. Great songs. R.I.P. Buddy They were also on Ozzy's No Rest for the Wicked and possibly, No More Tears. They also did a lot of the backgrounds on my favorite Psychedelic Furs song: https://www.youtube.com...

To answer the question, first explain what the difference is between a half hit wonder and a one hit wonder. What is half a hit? So far the only bands mentioned are one hit wonders or no hit wonder crap like Enuff Znuff I think I gave some good examples. Guys that have been around forever but no To...

Re: French/Ojeda - the worst 80s guitarists?

Holmes played some stuff on Headless Children that Ojeda and French can only dream of. I'd agree with that. Holmes, (when younger and sober), was decent. Piper, on the other hand, was useless, as Blackie proved when he switched to rhythm to replace him. So, when you had Piper and Holmes on an off d...

Bow Wow Wow never had a top 40 hit in the US, just a lot of MTV play for "I Want Candy" and a couple of their originals. They have been doing the nostalgia circuit since the 90s and now there are two touring versions of the band, one with the singer and one with the bass player, that do a ...

Not sure why Jackyl is running away with it. ACDC meets hair metal, singer can sing his ass off , and I believe they had 5 music videos off their first album alone. As well as the novelty of the chainsaw song (which I hate) All of that equals at least the 1 gold record. Moreso than Trixter, anyway....

For a couple of summers in the late 80s, they used to have weekly free concerts in downtown Dallas at the sam...

Yep. It wasn't released at the peak, but during the oversaturation that led to the decline and fall. But, to Mato's point, it was a major label release. It got pushed. There were videos. If people wanted to buy it, they would have. They didn't. The video was cheesy and lame and everything wrong wit...
