Re: What'd you think when you first heard UNHOOOLAYYY
I think I saw it first on Headbanger's Ball.
I hadn't bought a KISS album since "Lick it Up", but I went out and bought Revenge a couple of days later.
Turned out that the rest of the album was a bit of a letdown.

Sometimes I think, "Why the hell was I ever a fan of this band?"
And then I see something like this, and it all comes back.

Went to a Doobie Brothers show at a small theater, downtown. I kept seeing a bunch of old people walking around. Then I realized that we were going to the same show. And then I saw my reflection in a window.

Been looking for one of these for a long time. Found this one on local Facebook Marketplace, of all places.
In remarkably good shape, considering that it's a 40-year old guitar.

I don't think there's a genre of music that a P- bass can't handle.

Re: The logical conclusion on the "cute girl plays metal" youtube vids
I am not hating but why do girls think they need to sell sex appeal along with their talent? So that someone will watch? A couple of years ago, I thought about doing some Instagram videos, playing classic rock guitar solos. Then I realized that there's already a bunch of attractive young girls out ...

Re: Legacy acts. No new material vs. Mediocre material (Poll)
Would you prefer legacy acts not put out any new material? Is that better than putting out a mediocre album every few years? Maybe they like having a couple new songs to play in the set. Maybe the fans would prefer to have that 10 minutes devoted to stuff they came to hear. The way this is phrased,...

Re: New Ace record - Is it really him........?????
You can hear Ace's leads all over the album. Yeah, other than "Walking On the Moon", the solos sound like Ace. And it's not like they're great solos, just the same 5 licks he's still able to play. I'd guess that they had a much harder time getting vocals from him than than guitar leads.

Re: Memories of the late 80s as an Italian KISS fanatic
Then, one day, during a slow moment, I unveiled my secret weapon: the limited edition "First KISS Last Licks" album. Faces lit up with curiosity. Popped that beauty on, and the room filled with the glorious sounds of KISS. As "Prisoner of Love" blasted through the speakers, I wa...
