The Hush II just didn't cut it for me...But I had a lot of noise with certain preamps...The decimator actually blew me away as I had no idea noise reduction could be achieved so perfectly....

Had to post this....I just got an ISP Decimator G String pedal and NEVER have I heard such awesome noise reduction...I've been using a tone sucking Rocktron Hush II for years and the ISP simply destroys it...Almost no noticeable change in tone and zero noise...I think since it tracks the guitar sepa...

I got my MXR phase 90 modded yesterday. We did the r28, c11/c12 mod and it sounds crystal clear now. It used to be a 'dark, wet blanket' over my tone...now it's superb. I swear it took 2 min to do, and I love it. It is amazing how much a few electrical components can color tone...WIth the MTS stuff...
