Re: The new Arizona immigration law
It's pretty much a "re-write" of what is already Federal law and a waste of the seventeen pages of paper it's written on. The state had no right to do it, and I have a feeling it will turn into the same disaster California faced fifteen years ago with Proposition 187. If, by chance, it is ...

Re: Transferring Wealth From One Class To Another

Re: Transferring Wealth From One Class To Another
Really? Then I guess you didn't know that an alien eighteen years or older is guilty of a misdemeanor if they don't carry or have a certificate of alien registration or an alien registration receipt card issued to him/her in their personal possession at all times. Then I guess you didn't know that an alien eighteen years or older is guilty of a misdemeanor if they don'...

Re: Transferring Wealth From One Class To Another
Being in the country without the proper documentation is a federal crime, not a civil one. The fact that they ALSO broke a civil code by working without a green card is besides the point. Being in the country without proper documentation is a crime, however, you don't have to have a greencard to be...

Re: Transferring Wealth From One Class To Another
I think a good place to start with the immigration problem is to make the procedure easier to understand, cheaper for the applicant and more efficient although that typically has more to do with the country the person is coming from rather than the US. Even though the US has made some improvements, ...

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
I'd give it a 5/10 but I agree that screwing with the plot killed it.EvilPettingZoo wrote:My Sister's Keeper-3/10
Book was excellent, but they screwed with the plot and the movie fell flat.
