I saw that one of those Chuck clips on a compilation video back on Fuct I think (he was pissing in some gals mouth in the shower).
Fella really went tone deaf with the lack of caring about his live shows - musically speaking I mean.

Re: Michael Monroe cancels tour w/Buckcherry
The first 3 NP albums I used to listen to in heavy rotation a lot. The last studio album they put out was pretty good too given how long they’ve been around. AC/DC type sound but the vocals are def something you love or hate - there’s not an inbetween really. Fun band to see live esp when they had t...

As much as I like Al - and he’s truly fantastic - I do wish he’d have given the guys on his early 00 tour a call. Especially Brian Young his guitar player then. Those guys were great - but then again, so is his current band.

Big time Crowes fan here and STP, but I do not like this slow version of interstate love song at all. Not sure why they would even choose that song to play slow. This is more like if the CRB was covering it.

Re: Are canceled shows becoming more prevalent in your area
Pantera canceled at a gig locally to me to “grieve and reflect” on the passing of Ozzy next month but then wound up with a newly scheduled date on the same night up north. Looking at the seating chart around my seats (at the time) I think it had less to do with mourning and more to do with lack of s...

Huge fan for years and even a little while after the Artie era but I stopped being a daily listener around Covid when he did the show from his house and continued to do the show from his house. Did Didn’t need want or care to hear anything from Beth and he really did become more like Imus the past 1...

The fan in me was really hoping that the absence that he’s had was due to Ozempic or a nip tuck here and there andtime off from the singing to come back refreshed and healthy. Of course, I was wrong.

I say this as a die hard but if there’s ever been a person that needed a stylist/consigliere/guru/manager type (really I’m referring to Pete Angelus) back involved in his life, it’s Dave. Band - perfect for what he needs. Stage set up - fine, understated by most likely financially fiscal. DLR - terr...

Good Doc I enjoyed it. couple of things that I picked up on is it seems like Christy Brinkley still has some heartfelt feelings for him. I really enjoyed seeing their personal diary stuff from back in the day. She look like she was truly in love way back when and happy. Number two - and this is int ...

Re: It's been a week now...can we all admit...(Ozzy/Sabbath)
I was tentatively all-in for the nostalgic reasons most of us were looking for …but other than Nuno, I didn’t really see anything that made me think “wow I’m glad I looked at clips all day” while it was going on. Especially not the Ozzy solo and Sabbath finale. When Ozzy was yelling at someone to “t...

At one point (I’m think of the era she was fighting with ICP on the Stern show) she got a LOT more attractive with plastic surgery - but like so many others, she kept on going too far with it.

Speaking of current DLR as an old Rothtard I looked into his ticket sales for upcoming shows. Very underwhelming considering the good reception he got for the M3 show. Only 30 % or so sold for the concerts I checked. And the venues are pretty modest size. Guess the demand just isn't there. I'm star...

Taken this week. I know he’s 70 but should he look 20 years older than that, unless something is wrong, which I hope is *not* the case. I was worried when he made his retirement announcement back in 21 and it was sort of cryptic that something might be going on. It really does look like he’s aged 30...

Re: Matt Sorum’s book - WTF?
If anyone has checked out former Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman’s bio, in the very early phases he was jamming with Slash and Duff on the earlier version of what became Velvet Revolver. He somehow got in contact with/after he was looking at buying a home out in California, which happened to belon...

My one and only time to see him play live was during the tears in heaven era of him touring. It was a good show, packed out in a 16K seat area and his band was tight. I think he looked a bit like what was in the original clip in this thread too.

It’s wild that Vince, who let’s face it probably one of the laziest people on the planet with a lot of money, hasn’t invested in the Ozempic shot yet. Maybe now that he’s about to be back on the scene he will.

Re: Lou Gramm almost as sad as watching Frankie Valli
I saw Lou headline a riverfest show in Gadsden AL 15 or so years ago and I think that was before he had his serious health issues - he sounded pretty bad then and I can’t imagine the poor guy has gotten better over time. His solo band was pretty solid.

Good doc, worth the effort - I wasn’t aware he was gay either, all the ladies in my high school really liked his music and I’d see his videos quite often on BET Video Soul. Richard Marx was a big collaborator with him, more so than the doc mentioned - he was written about quite a bit in Richard’s bi...

I know Wolf is very talented and I respect him for what he pulled off as a young kid for the VH gig - but I just can’t get into his own music. It’s pretty bland.
He was on such a high note when he played with Dave Grohl…if he put out a VH sounding record he’d win over so many people.

I didn’t think it was terrible. That band was good. The guys that look like princes backing dancers/singers from the early 90s were a little oddly placed, but they actually made the background vocals sound better. What I really think Dave could profit from - besides a for real vocal coach to help hi...

The whole JP chapter in Steve’s book is a trip. I guess time heals all wounds but the revisionist history that Chris is doing with the JP rerelease is very much on par with the corporate/Live Nation Crowes of today. Chris being interviewed around the time Lions was reaped back in 2001: NYROCK: It mu...
