Re: The Offical P13's Dignity and Integrity Memorial NFL Thr
Emmanuel Sanders signs an offer sheet with the Patriots reportedly for 1 year. Steelers have 5 days to match. WTF? One year? Guess he'll stay with Pittsburgh since they made it quite easy for them to match it. They have also re-signed Julian Edelman. Edit - Offer sheet is apparently 1yr/2.5mil. Why...

Re: NFL Thread, Bitches!!!!
I don't think Reed ever made it to New England. Yeah, you may be right. It must have been Wilson and not Reed. Can't believe they haven't signed Sanders from Pittsburgh. He would only cost them a 3rd round pick. Agreed. The Patriots secondary is laughably bad, and I don't think they have done a ton...

Re: NFL Thread, Bitches!!!!
I don't think Reed ever made it to New England. No way was Belichick going to sign him for 3 years and $15M, no matter how much he worshiped Reed in his great days. Patriots just don't overpay. They went for Wilson -- better long-term move, may be a Rodney Harrison kind of impact guy -- maybe .... ...

Re: NFL Thread, Bitches!!!!
Ed Reed signs with the Texans. I am surprised Belichick didn't make a run for him. They did, sort of I guess. Abraham, Freeney and Reed were there the same day. Abraham was the one that was rumored to be signed before he left but that didn't happen either. I don't think Reed ever made it to New Eng...

Re: NFL 2012 Thread, Bitches!!!!
Wasn't that the bowl game that they kept showing Warner's wife? I was wondering if she was calling plays on the sideline they showed her so much during that game.. She looked like a buzzard in a tree -- hideous woman. Have to tip my hat to Kurt for keeping her after he was successful, however. Bett...

Exactly -- it's fucking comical that Faulk thinks that had anything to do with their loss.

Re: Manti Te’o’s-Story about GF was a hoax
Do you really think his gayness would have ANY affect on his draft status at this time? yes, I think it would. Although football skills are a predominant factor, there are marketing issues always in play and the NFL is still in the ice age when it comes to having "out" gays on the team --...

Hard to go against Joe Montana, particularly in the post season.
Brady would be a close second -- he only chokes against the Giants.

Watt staring down then wagging his finger at Ridley after crushing him and pushing him back - dude may be a beast from the neck down, but from the neck up he's a bit Opie Taylor-ish, which is probably why I laughed out loud when he did the stare maneuver. Anyone want to discuss the flurry of report...

Love how Turner is sucking Ryan's nuts a bit to land a gig.
Weren't they sniping at each other just last year?
Can't Turner hasn't had enough fucking chances in this league. Not even Bill Walsh could do anything with the lack of offensive talent on the Jets.

Big game tonight on MNF Jets vs Titans  About mid way through the second quarter last night I was asking myself what did I do wrong in my life that I was watching that shit and not changing the channel. I did the opposite, and tuned in for the last quarter. Sanchez is finished. Rex looks like ...

Re: NFL 2012 Thread
I'm not saying I knew that Brady was going to be a success, but drafting him in the 7th round as opposed to the 1st was a good decision. I don't think even Brady knew he was capable of the kind of success he has had. He definitely had the work ethic to try to get it though. Maybe THAT's the reason....

SF 49ers have suspended Brandon Jacobs for the remainder of the season. Suspending him is a brilliant and devious move. Re: NFL 2012 Thread
Based on where we are today, I would think the MVP award should be down to Manning, Peterson, and Brady. Manning is having a great year, particularly in the second half, without an incredible offense. Peterson is carrying an entire team on his shoulders. And Brady is pretty much carrying his team wi...

Re: NFL 2012 Thread
I think Manning will get Comeback Player. Both he and Peterson have dome a remarkable job this year and both of them deserve to win it. But the NFL is a quarterback's league at this point and Manning is the NFL's golden boy. Peterson would have had to have had both legs amputated & surgically r...

first time entering Fenway and Wrigley were pretty impressive moments. But the most 'wow' moment was Pac Bell Park in SF (or whatever the fuck it is called now). Expanding his role or not, I really think Hayensworth is finished. He's uncoachable, doesn't give a fuck, and doesn't need the money. He'll end up broke of course. You are probably right -- he seemed to be taking on the "Patriot Way" but he sure wasn't getting a lot of snaps. Obviously, t...

Re: NFL 2011 Thread
Patriots release Albert Haynesworth. He didn't perform and refused to be coached. He blew another assignment on Sunday that cost a TD and then argued with coach Pepper Johnson on the sidelines. Wrong coach to pick a fight with. Belichick and Johnson have been together over 25 years. Someone had to ...
