I like then both......the intro to Arcade - "Dancin With The Angels" reminds me of the intro to Aerosmith "Let the Music Do the Talkin" (IMO one their best and underrated songs).

I cant listen to Green Day due to the faux English/Johnny Rotten accent/vocal style. And the drummer has a perpetual "shit eating grin" that makes me want to punch him in the face.
And they suck.
And they suck.

Bert is such a cock, and the hodgepodge of "D" level "special guests" is actually a deterrent for me.
Despite 20+ years of his incessant man-whoring the "Bert Miracles" brand, his "solo" set is still an uninspired/short set of all Poison songs.

Alanis Morissette, the whole "I'm a quirky, impulsive, unpredictable, free spirit artist" felt absolutely as rehearsed as a KISS concert. Black Crowes, mid 90's when they were going through their "jam band phase". Despite the fact that I can't think of a Black Crowes song that I ...

Re: Would Bon Jovi have got that far away from other 80s hair metal bands without It's my life?
Despite hitting it big during the the "80's hair metal scene", Jon/Bon Jovi was always a pop artist/band that adapted to whatever was current. The are not "cut from the same cloth" as Motley, Def Leppard, etc., which allowed BJ to continue to have massive crossover appeal. As som...

Saw: Warrant (Springfield MA) on the Belly 2 Belly tour, they played some type of converted warehouse/club/bar. The Verve Pipe - "The Freshman" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1umEXpGHc0E Something about this pretentious song always bugged the royal fuck out of me. The lead singer/band/song has that "college town open mic vibe", in that the overall product is not nearly as deep/creative/in...

Jason Bieler has always come across like a dick....... "The Lizard" has a some really good stuff on it, but the album is brought down by the instrumentals and joke songs. Band probably would have done better if they came out a year later and were lumped in with the "Grunge scene"...

IMO, Jamie St, James is completely underwhelming as a vocalist, but I thought "Born Again" was pretty good. Better songs and more "fun" than the 2 CD's with Mason.

I like the main riff, but after the recycled Jealous Again verse melody, the song doesn't go anywhere. And IMO, the song almost sounds like the was awkwardly pieced together in the studio, it doesn't have a natural flow.

The Great White debut doesn't even make top 5 of their catalog. Moving in a more faux blues/accessible direction, was the smartest thing they could have done.

I really like both, but IMO Warrant has a stronger catalog. The 1st 4 albums are great (DRFSR, Cherry Pie, Dog Eat Dog, Ultraphobic). For me there are no "essential" Great White albums.

If I didn't who he was, I would assume that was some type of joke/parody. The "operatic" vocal style is cheesy as fuck, and his actual voice has no appealing qualities.

I just bought a Gretsch g5129, early 2000"s, red top, black sides, De'Armond pickups. Sounds amazing. At one time I had a 2008 g5120, but it sounded muddy and cheap.
Having a 2nd Gretsch has reminded me how much I hate their strap screw system.

Great album (if your into that kind of thing, which I am.)
Cool band with a lot great songs, but the overall catalog is "spotty".
IMO, "Dynamite Jet Saloon" (1988) and "Happy Ever After" (2000) are the most consitent.

With only knowing what I've read in this thread, "married to a famous art photographic" seems the likely answer. That, and he and/or his famous art photographic spouse come from cash. And she's 23 years younger than him.......(the guy is truly underrated). Hanoi Rocks was "done"...

I like Pirates, especially sexy Pirate Queens.
I would bang the singer and the bass player (who looks like she has never held a bass/guitar prior the video shoot).
And the song is actually kinda catchy (in a cheesy way ).
