District 9 - 9/10. WAY better than what the previews made it out to be. I had to watch it in three installments because of interruptions, which was a gigantic pain in the ass, but I still liked it a lot.

The Thing - 8.6/10. I liked it.

Yesterday we had a Jack Russell Terrier that had been bitten on the nose by a rattlesnake. The snake was trying to come into her house so she attacked it and got bitten, but still ate the snake. I sort of doubt my dogs would go that far for me.
