Are those proportions wrong, or are you getting a mandolin? It's not a mando. It's a 3/4 scale guitar....and it's already on the truck, scheduled for delivery today. I can't believe it...only three and a half days from Japan to my house. https://voxamps.com/product/vox-mark-v-mini-guitar/ https://w...

Re: Your 2024 Unpopular Music Opinions

To me, Taylor Swift is in the same boat as the Karsashians. I cant name any of her songs or the guys she broke up with in the songs....except for John Mayer. I've read about some nice things she's done for people, and that's admirable, but musically, her songs are something for people to hum while t...

I know this is a somber thread (so far), but I just barely glanced at the title page, and even though I've already posted in it, I thought I saw a parody thread, started by Heenan, or someone, titled, "Brian Wilson Is Suffering From Diarrhea."

Re: McCartney’s Long-Lost Bass, Missing for Over 50 Years, Has Been Found

It sat unplayed for about 20 years in that shop, and now sits around unplayed, because it isn't as comfortable as my '80's Jap P-bass or my main bass, a sixties Hagstrom. I've had it about 15 years. I used to play a friend's early 60s Hagstrom bass. I loved it. The neck was thinner than some guitar...

I've seen some very sweet Pits, but I also saw one that could bite down on a bowling ball in just the right spot, and then climb to the top of an eight ft. ladder while carrying it in it's mouth. It was smart, ferocious and could have easily killed me if it's owner told it to.

Feh. "Most important bass", my ass. James Jamerson's 1962 Sunburst P is still out there somewhere. Wow. I didn't know about that. I can only guess that it was played to DEATH. I just can't see a vintage P bass sitting around and NOT being played to death. In any case, I'm off to surf the ...
