It’s a great record… OK, a good one. Bold for them, and appropriate for the times. The only people I know who don’t like it are the heavier/faster true metal meatheads whom feel threatened by anything melodic and argue that Painkiller is the best metal record of all time.

I was in Vegas this past Fall. Saw the residency on a Wednesday and liked it so much I went back Friday. Great venue for them, they do hits, newer songs, and deep cuts, and switch out between 3-5 songs every show. Best shows I saw this year.

KK’s band is cringeworthy. Metal for meatheads, who only think a band is good if every song is fast and heavy. Totally generic crap. Both bands are decent but pretty generic. Very disposable music, but good for a 45 minute live set. Like female versions of Airborne, or The Donnas 20 years after the fact.

Agreed. Say what you want about Don as live performer, but he can still come up with hooks and melodies that are true to the band’s original sound. I also can’t say enough about the band… Levin shreds on this thing, and BJ Zampa and Chris McCarvill form a tight rhythm section. Production is good too...

He’s been doing these side hustles, with little fanfare, for years. He played a gig here in Montreal a few years ago, at a small theatre/community centre… charged like $80 a head and the entire Pilipino community showed up in droves.

Future Past Tour is what I think they're calling it. I had to look that up, you're right. So on top of recycling their own riffs, they have to steal Duran Duran's latest album title for their latest tour, pathetic! Other way around. Maiden announced their tour with that branding well before DD did....
