Re: Pardi gras 2.0 announced
You guys really don't get it. This tour is for people who live in TRAILER PARKS and country folks. Re: Roth trolls Hagar, probed by aliens
In a video posted to YouTube titled "The Ballad Of Popsicle Sam", Roth referenced Hagar's belief that a pair of aliens tapped into his mind through some kind of Wi-Fi connection, saying in part about the fellow former VAN HALEN singer: "According to Sam, he was abducted by aliens. &q...

Where he really lost the crowd was by singing a set of 1950’s -60’s standards that had the crowd leaving in droves. My friend and l left as well it was so bad. All his big albums had 50s-60s covers on them and one of his biggest records was an album of standards. Billboard #1, 4x platinum. What wer...

Two Misfits ones: Danzig about twenty years ago. His voice was completely blown out, and they masked it by making him barely audible in the mix. And I mean BARELY. Everyone was talking shit about the sound guy, but I knew what they were up to. Doyle Von Frankenstein. I don't know why, but I saw he w...

What he's saying is pretty normal: "I liked my job, I didn't really want to make a change, so I asked for something crazy. That was the only way I'd actually be motivated to go through with it."

Re: At this point would you rather see Vince Solo or Motley Crue?
Saw Vince solo at a casino right around the time I saw Crue on their 2014 (or whenever) farewell tour.
Vince solo was way more fun. Nowadays you don’t even get to hear Mick play guitar with Crue, so the choice is easy.

Re: "In 1978, Kiss had retail sales of $117 million"
It's very normal for a company that does $100 million a year to be left with a couple million in profit. Net profit = revenue – cost of goods sold – operating expenses – interest – taxes. Example: Amazon's net profit is 3.36%, and they are big enough to secure the most favorable deals on the planet....

Yet he lived in the USA? What a clown.
Sounds like he used that experience as an excuse to not have to fly from LA to Tokyo. It's a long flight.

This whole thing confuses me. I had to look up that album they're touring - it flopped.
So they're a one hit wonder, but they want to go out and tour a later album that flopped without the singer that sang their one hit?
What's the money in that? $1,500 a night?

Dave was almost 40 and had peaked as an artist in 1984. For comparison: Lady Gaga and Katy Perry are about the age now that Dave was then. Think about how long it's been since they were "cool". Cinderella were also yesterday's news. Nobody wanted to hear "Shelter Me" when they co...

Music is good. Verse melody is indeed Jealous Again.... Chorus melody doesn't exist. Needs a better hook.
The snare sound is the least of their problems here.

Re: Rick Beato video on corruption and the downfall of Rock after '96
The genre is obsolete. Too expensive to make it, the return on investment isn't there. Kids used to take making rock and roll as seriously as a boxer takes his shot at a world title fight. Nowadays, the money is gone - there ain't no title to win, nor the money, fame, and glory that comes with it. S...

Poison had “it”.
No matter what kinda criticisms I have about them now, it doesn’t change the fact that I had all their albums on cassette and even bought Native Tongue later on. So did pretty much everyone else.

We've been talking about this one for a while now.... since he "left" Kingdom Come.
God damn shame what alcoholism can do, and what someone can do to themselves.
I LOVED those first two Kingdom Come records. Will be blasting them today.

No.
I would watch Great White if they were playing for free at the fair, just to hear Mark play guitar.
I wouldn't watch Slaughter if you were paying me $70 to stand there.
