Re: El Toro's Official Guitarded Thread...
Throw out the pedal pad and noise gate.
Put everything except the carbon copy in the loop.
(Phase 90 SHOULD be out front. Chorus could go either way, but I prefer it hitting the preamp)
Personally, I'd throw out the Carbon Copy too, and get something with a tap tempo. Once you start using the loop, the delay will become MUCH more useful, and you will want that.
The Carbon Copy (and most "analog" delays) are for running out front when nerfing the delay is desirable.
What amp are you doing this with?

Re: El Toro's Official Guitarded Thread...
Shouldn't be a problem.
I was asking because a lot of the higher end tube amps (like Marshall) have loop levels that aren't set up for pedals (fucking retarded...who uses rack shit anymore?) and you need to use a buffer to get back to unity gain...
But you should be fine. Transistor shit seldom cares.
You should buy my 5150, though. Then you could throw out that distortion pedal

Love too, but no funds...I want the rebel 20. maybe this summer...ok, just so I'm clear you suggest:
Guitar--> delay--> amp input
and
effects send--> board (minus the pad patch connections and gate)--> effects return?
this look good?
also, does the pedal pad suck tone or something?

No no no no no.
Guitar=>everything but delay=>amp.
Loop out=>delay=>loop in.
Throw out pedal pad. Just because it is unnecessary.

woops..gottcha...I'll try that and get back to you...I appreciate the advice. Yeah, I remember you posted that you were going to sell it on ebay or something. I am most definetly interested in the rebel but no funds. I'd offer trade but I don't think I have anything you would be interested in. Aside from the Marshall amp...i've got a RG 2EX2 that I don't use.

Yah. I just have too much shit, but am too lazy to ebay it all...
I just went through a $1000 pedal buying binge trying to get a sound for Dokken day over the last few months and now I need to unload most of them, lol. (Ended up just using my sansamp and DD5)
...but there are a couple pieces I need. I see an MXR 10 band eq in my future, and also a Palmer Di box for recording witout a mic and giving a line to house sound guys.
...maybe also a spiffy delay. I pretty much love my Echo Park, but am intrigued by the El Capistan and Memory Boy Deluxe.

Ah.
Let me just make this clear: there was no point at which I was either implying or inferring that you had set up your guitars on your porn-viewing couch.
Seriously, I would never do a thing like that.

Sadly, no. I miss my #1, but I sold virtually everything when I bought the Electric Ballroom back in 1994. Also, BC rich never gave me a "Virgin" like they were supposed to.

Not much of a story. I got an endorsement and they just couldn't seem to give me a decent guitar in the right color. Anyhow, I sketched out a MelodyMaker meets a Warlock because I thought if they were gonna rip off classic a safe designs (like the ST-3 and Gunslinger) they should make them a bit more BC Richish...
They never gave one to me, but called it the Virgin and used our advertising catch phrases.
