I would have never guessed tribute to Poison
Maybe Funhouse and Ugly Kid Joe had 4 ugly untalented kids
What is demand to see this band? I’m guessing 30(25 on guest list)

Might be more fun buying 25$ worth of food and snacks across at gas station
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

My bandmate is the Bert of this band.

This is their first show. My agent is very excited about Poison, so their very first show is this- headlining at the whisky.

He asked me to be the CC of he band, but, as a fan of manly music, I had to decline. I created the keyboard backing track for him for Something to Believe In the other day, tho. Man, I do not get Poison.

I could ask him what the set list is, if that helps you, I’m sure it’s their biggest songs….

I played Bobby Dall in a Poison Tribute over here in the UK about ten years ago.

https://youtu.be/bexXXEVF7IA

Kinda surreal experience even though Poison are one of my all time favourite bands. I quit after a few years, the band are still going today though and cashed in big when the Stadium Tour kicked in cause the UK crowds ate up a Tribute Band version of it.

So how much did you have to dumb it down to play Bobby Dall? Serious question.

And good stuff.

You guys didn't skimp on the costumes.... except Brit Bert's wig!

Kidding aside, that sounded awesome.

Haha! Thanks! I thought we did a decent job. Bert Michaels has grown his hair out since this clip so it's a little more legit these days... or not, whichever way you wanna look at it! :P

We used to do pretty much the entire Swallow This Live Set so 'Look But You Can't Touch' was in there.... we used to 'Life Loves A Tragedy', 'Let Me Go To The Show' and 'Number 1 Bad Boy' too but to be honest, I don't think half the crowd knew them. We did put 'Ride The Wind' back in the set though cause, you know.... "The Fans Demanded It!!" :P

Poison does have 10 hits, so you could do an entire set without any album cuts.

No offense Huey but what manly music do you like? Your avatar isn’t the most manly.

While Poison were super gay, it’s not like they were the only queens at the drag show in the 80s. GNR, Crue, Ratt, Twisted Sister…they were all a bunch of chicks with dicks.

GnR, Crue and TS all played metal. Poison has never written or played a heavy metal song.

Ride The Wind is heavy metal like almost all the singles
I Want Action is heavy metal

If local LA “musician” near 50 don’t agree well- nobody cares

Congratulations to Fallen Angel for having 2 presale tickets sold. Gas station across the street will sell more hot chocolate cups on summer night than Fallen Angel sells tickets

I’m guessing extremely disappointing
Fallen Angel “ blah blah blah felt like 1991 at Selland Arena! Felt like 10,000 Fresno State sorority sisters screaming for US- LAglamrocker was alone in his box on the street dipping his Cool Ranch Doritos in mild hot chocolate “
