KISS final concert on PPV this Saturday
$40 to watch. Curiosity is going to get the best of me along with nostalgia and I’ll end up getting this I’m sure of it. Anybody else going to get it?

Re: KISS final concert on PPV this Saturday
I probably would have been trying to put the trip to NYC together twenty years ago. Now, I can't be bothered with a PPV. I'm sure parts will turn up on YT to check out.

Re: KISS final concert on PPV this Saturday
I spent way more than I was planning on to go tonight. I'm sure someone will pirate it if I really want to see it later.

Final concert...until the Ottawa and Toronto make-up dates. And then, due to popular demand....

Re: KISS final concert on PPV this Saturday
It’s showing up on my guide as going from 7 to 1. I know the show isn’t that long. I wonder what else they have planned to show for that long?

I'm gonna buy the $1400 "Ultimate Package" and then cry for years on message boards that my Bl-Ray, Tshirt, autographet poster, etc, was never delivered.

Kulick has confirmed he won’t be there and wasn’t even invited. All that claptrap they sold the tour on in 2019 about special guests was exactly that. Claptrap.

How many Kiss fans will be in tears during final show?

C'mon, people! Let's cut to the important part: how many dorks are going to shell out for the meet and greet so Bernie can post a thread about them on here?

Sort of like when he lied about doing a bunch of rare songs at Dubai to hype that PPV and a couple of weeks ago when he said they were planning a bunch of “surprises” for the Hollywood Bowl show and delivered none!Mister Freeze wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 8:16 pmBernieTaupson wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 2:32 pm Kulick has confirmed he won’t be there and wasn’t even invited. They’re not doing any M+G’s at either of the last two shows. Not sure why.
But I’ll do another compilation now for you since you like them so much.

The reunion tours with the original band were the only farewell I needed. Too late at the party by several decades.

Not inviting Bruce onstage for the last show just ain’t right.
Re: KISS final concert on PPV this Saturday
I’m a low-key KISStard… I’m getting the PPV.
As recently as Saturday I’d been thinking about going to NYC, but I’ve decided to keep my money and settle for watching on TV.

Re: KISS final concert on PPV this Saturday
I mean, it's a fantastic show, but if you don't want to spend the money, it's understandable. I was blown away by the production last night. I'm trying to think of any other show I've been to that's had anywhere close to that level, with the lights, the fire, the moving platforms, and the only show I can think of that put even remotely that level of effort into things was maybe Pink Floyd on the Pulse tour, but obviously that's a different thing. Maybe the Motley Carnival of Sins show came close.

Re: KISS final concert on PPV this Saturday
I'm a HUGE KISS fan, and I live a couple hours outside NYC by car.
But on Saturday, I'll be at the Nonpoint/hed (P.E.)/Sumo Cyco show.
$25 a ticket and I DON'T have to see Paul Stanley's kid perform.

Not even inviting/flying him in as a guest is just plain stupid and cheap.Jason Jennifer Leigh wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 4:16 am Not inviting Bruce onstage for the last show just ain’t right.
He’s been promoting his era of the band alone for many years now. Never bad mothing the band he got kicked out from and was with the band through the tough years. That should count for something!

Re: KISS final concert on PPV this Saturday
Who knows the real reason, but I could see a thought exercise like this: we're not inviting Ace and Pete. That's a done deal. If we bring Bruce back, the fans will diminish Tommy's tenure and servitude in favor of Bruce. KISS probably doesn't want that on their final live show, so all the emphasis is on these 4. Since they're essentially treating it like the last show, to do something extraordinary would have taken months of planning, contracts, etc. None of that happened, so it's nothing more than a PPV live show.Zinny wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 1:08 pmNot even inviting/flying him in as a guest is just plain stupid and cheap.Jason Jennifer Leigh wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 4:16 am Not inviting Bruce onstage for the last show just ain’t right.
