Thank you for taking my call and per your request here is some of the information we discussed for your review.

I would like to start by introducing my wife, Carmela Stearns, and myself, Doug Stearns. We have travelled all over the U.S seeing KISS for the past 3 decades; as well as sailed on all 12 of the KISS Kruises; therefore, we have a large network of friends (KISS family) from around the world that attended the final KISS concert at MSG. With that said, I am writing this email on behalf of all of them and will include some of their accounts from many of them at the end of this email.

My personal experience was as follows: as soon as the show ended the staff and security were aggressive in their manner of getting people to leave the venue. We are aware of the importance of people leaving the venue for staff to have access to clean, for maintenance, and to breakdown. However, the aggression was excessive. An example of this is a Security staff member yelled repeatedly, directly in my face to “Keep Moving,” to the point that I responded to one of them that “I am not able to move until those in front of me move, there is nowhere to go” and “to stop screaming at me, we are all moving as fast as we physically can.” Unfortunately, they got even more insistent with their demands during our departure the closer we got to the exit.

As we approached the exit, we saw people on the other side of the door trying to get back inside, yelling that they did not get their gift and security yelling back that once they left the building it was too late. After viewing and hearing this, plus seeing that there were many full cardboard boxes with the gifts remaining, and that there were only a few people/fans that were still inside the building; I inquired about Carmela and myself being allowed to take boxes of the gifts right outside the door where they could watch and/or assist in order to distribute the gifts to the fans. The response I received was a loud “NO!” and I was escorted gruffly out the door.

There were no signs or staff indicating there was a gift, go there to collect your gift, etc.

Therefore, if you did not see it or hear about it before you left the venue, you did not get anything.

This was frustrating for many fans and for many reasons.

Fans were pushed out to alternate exits then where they came in from.

Some were directed to stairwell fire exists that did not pass by any table with free gifts.

Many did not learn that there were “gifts” until after they had exited and saw others with the gifts. And few even encountered verbal and even physical abuse by the MSG staff members pushing them out of the venue.

Many friends indicate the exits they went to did not have any gifts to give away and others report by the time they saw the give away it was too late as they were being ushered out the door.

For the majority, KISS Fans are a dedicated crowd that comes together as a family out of our mutual LOVE for KISS. We are not normally aggressive in nature (except for our passion for our band!). Unfortunately, since the concert has ended and the Golden ticket fiasco has taken place with fans not receiving the gifts and staff keeping them, you and your team may be experiencing our “passionate” side of sadness that can represent outwardly as anger. We, Carmela and I are offering to be a liaison between MSG and the fans.

We are collectively asking for you to investigate this matter further, take action with the staff members who were abusive towards the fans, as well as those that stole the “Golden tickets” that were intended to be distributed directly to the fans upon our departure; and assist us in getting Golden tickets to those who did not receive them.

We have been compiling a list of names of those who have come forward who did not receive the gift. If the Golden tickets can be located or additional tickets created, we would be happy to assist KISS, MSG, & the Fans in distributing the gifts.

Our goal is to support all with a resolution.

They were pushing us out. Paul said you all get a golden ticket but he didn't specify how ? The MSG employees kept telling us we have to exit immediately. No mention of a special line for the ticket, or that we get one. That's terrible that we spent so much money and didn't get what was promised.

I didn’t even know about this until I saw all the posts. There were plenty of emails going out before the concert from Ticketmaster or MSG about entry to the event - why didn’t they also send one out about how to get the Golden Ticket? Baffling

Those golden ticket got taken by venue and their employees I guarantee you.

Also the way those bracelets were distributed could have been done way better.

Instead of putting them on arms of seats in venues they should have been handed out as you were being scanned in for entry.

And also they should have made enough golden tickets for every ticket .

Since tickets were so outrages in prices.

Those golden and bracelets were being sold on Ebay.Before we left the show.

Karen B of course they did. Most of the fans j met on Saturday were not from NYC. If you look at most of the auctions on eBay for them, the registered location is in one of the 5 Borroughs of Manhattan. They definitely went out the door to locals for resale

I saw MSG staff loading stuff into backpacks but had no idea they were the tickets til I got home,they were rude an they diverted us away from the line that was givin them out made us leave thru a line that didn’t have them…

I didn’t get one. Like most people I never knew about it until after the fact. I am sure the Rangers have giveaways like most other hockey teams and I am sure the staff knows how to handle giveaways. I think as most said they just kept them to sell. As a fan I am not surprised because how many of us have been at a concert front row and had picks thrown to us that didn’t make it past the barricade only to have security pocket them. It was just a very disappointing ending for all that didn’t receive one.

The staff guided us out through a back stairwell that was kind of unpopulated. Felt like we were going out the staff exit. We were directed completely away from the area where we could have got one of these and alas, we missed the opportunity as well. It is kind of you to try to do anything at all, but I suspect lots of us will either need to pay an outrageous price online or be realistic and save for retirement

They were super aggressive with pushing people out. Friend of mine was on the floor and they were yelling at him when he was resting after the show "what are you doing!!??!! YOU NEED TO MOVE!!!". He said he was bullied by several of the staff and he almost got in a fight with them but didn't want to go to jail. Never saw a ticket going out, the staff obviously didn't give a shit.

I am filling out the survey and explaining to them what took place. Almost exactly to the word is what took place for me and my Son as we left. We asked several MSG people about were to get the tickets, we were pushed toward the stairs and the door. as we exited they would not let us back in and there was NO attempt to even listen to what I was asking. Neither Lou or I got a ticket either we were FORCED to go down some side staircase like cattle and were not allowed to go anyplace but out of the building ..I’m so mad we stood in line for merchandise when doors opened and got like nothing, I bought a shirt smaller then I wear because my size was gone (hope to lose weight to be able to wear it) I emailed but no response yet but all they say to everyone i am hearing is they don’t have any more tickets to give ..how unfair. Their workers all took them home I’m sure

They should have given one to each person when they came IN the venue..SMDH I’ve followed this band my entire life for it to end like this is just so heartbreaking for all of us.

It’s not that people are complaining just out of sour grapes. There are many stories circulating from credible folks that the staff were hoarding. That’s NOT ok. I can send you eBay usernames of the same people with multiples. There was greed, and there was no process.

KISS merchandise is not intended for people to hoard and then upsell at a profit, it’s intended for the fans. People who do that and feel entitled to their income from this source need to really take a long hard look at themselves. Album releases are another good example.

It's not that people didn't get one, it was a combination of things- the staff at MSG was YELLING at people to get the hell out, being rude, and in the case I saw, berating people. I was directed down a stairway and away from the normal exit and it was slammed with people, to the point of being dangerous. And again, they were YELLING at people to get out (and into the heavy stack of people) instead of allowing a normal exit as we have all experienced at concerts. I saw a MSG staff person say things like "what are you doing? You need to move right now!" to a tired/injured person that was resting. It was chaos created by MSG that was unnecessary and aggressive. Had they allowed everyone to exit peacefully and without the berating/yelling/aggression, more people would have gotten the golden tickets and less craziness would have ensued
