For the Shotgun Messiah people out there.

The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

For the Shotgun Messiah people out there.

One of my favorite bands ever.
That said, Tim’s solo stuff is not for me.

I had no idea he had started playing a SM song in his set.

Here's 69 Eyes singer's recent version of SM's Sexdrugsrockn'roll with Tim Sköld (who produced the album too):

Had the album with Heartbreak Boulevard on it. Cassette. Loved that song. Don't remember anything else.

I own all three releases and play them fairly regularly. Violent New Breed is underappreciated - imagine NIN's Broken with much better guitars and less depressing lyrics.

Timmy needs to get back to work with Harry Cody already.

I mentioned this previously...

TUFF was on tour, and we were booked to support Shotgun Messiah in NYC at "The Limelight".

For those who know... that club was bad-ass.

A few weeks before the show, our agent contacts us and says "Shotgun Messiah doesn't want you on the show..."

I was like "Huh?"

The promoter contacted our agent and said in so many words "Shotgun Messiah doesn't want to play with glam bands, and refuse to play with Tuff."

I guess the promoter pushed back a bit, and then SM said, "If Tuff plays... we're not taking the stage."

So... we were removed from the bill.

This happened 1 other time when we were billed, booked and advertised to support RATT in Phx... about 10-12 years ago.

Blotzer pulled the same thing... and said "If Tuff takes the stage, I will not take the throne."

This went as far as me talking with RATT management, the promoters, etc... Pearcy & DeMartini were all good with us, but Blotzer was not.

In the end... Tuff were removed from the bill.

Love me some Shotgun Messiah! Thanks for posting this! Sadly, Tim sounds like shit in this clip.

So Blotzer has always been a miserable, conniving prick, eh?
