Dog eat Dog is the classic lineup, yes. Haha.

Bonus-footage the first two Spread Eagle CDs, IMO.

Dog Eat Dog is still one of my favorite albums. I recommend listening to that one with the lyric sheet (online if you do not have the CD booklet).

Pull is a solid record. Spell I’m Under is insane.

Never cared for that Motley album.

I’m halfway through Pull.
The musicianship is, and always has been, fantastic with them.
Definitely hearing the low tuned guitars and more aggressive chord progressions.
I like it.

Pull is garbage, I gave it a chance but it sucks.
MC94: the production is great, some of the songs are good to very good, but a few of them are way too long and where the fuck is Vince...?! No Vince = no Crüe... Hooligan's Holiday is crap too, how that garbage became a "single" is beyond me.
Warrant: I haven't listened to it. I have their greatest hits CD and can't imagine that this album is any better than that.

Here's a trifecta of killer trifectas:
- Hell Awaits / Reign in Blood / South of Heaven
- Kill 'em All / Ride the Lightning / Master of Puppets
- Blizzard of Ozz / Diary of a Madman / Bark at the Moon

Pull has great musicians hip. Songs are pretty weak. Tried to get into it multiple times.

What's wrong bro? Mad at yourself? But seriously I dig MC94. Hooligan's top 10 Motley song for me. Never heard a note of the other two...

First half was pretty decent.
Kinda went downhill.

Halfway through Dog Eat Dog now.

I dig it so far…..but, April, 20whatever is definitely a ripoff of Family Snapshot by Gabriel.

Yeah. Poison Apples, Hooligans, and Misunderstood are 3 of their best tunes.

psychobolia has an unbeatable trifecta, you can't top that

but if you are looking for a third album to close out your set pick one of his, or Kings X Dogman (so killer) or maybe Black Crowes Amorica

You both seem to be missing the spirit of the "Sludge Holy Trinity". Successful records that are widely acknowledged as good aren't eligible...

Great album, but doesn't quite meet the criteria.

The Sludge Trinity includes '80 bands that gave into '90s trends and strayed from what made them, but came up with an album that's actually pretty good. Almost surprisingly good.

By comparison, Tesla didn't change anything and released an album that sounds like Tesla.

I would add Virus by Edge of Life. Crappy bass, but the guitar players shred!

Dog Eat Dog has some great tunes on it. It will grow on you.

I would add Life, Sex, and Death's debut also. Stanley actually has a great voice.

I like most of Pull but agree the first side is better than the second. Who’s The One is still a favorite of mine. They didn’t release a bad album from ‘88-‘93. The meaning of the album’s title is funny and showed the band had a sense of humor.

DED is the best album the band ever did. It was criminal that it didn’t go multi platinum. I like the ode to Jane’s. I’m sure Jane’s got it from somewhere, Lou Reed, Bowie or somebody

MC94, like Pull has a couple fillers but otherwise is solid. It’s their Back In Black creatively

Lots of other contenders for me. My list would be long

Those were some good times man. I wasn't being sarcastic-you and Ace could shred and it's always fun to make fun of Buzz. I always thought Pep sounded like Gene Simmons when he was singing the chorus to Virus. I hope your doing well Gaz!
