He's always sounded great. But man, he's got to do something about the weight. I thought he looked a little better in the Amoeba records video he did, but that video makes him out to look bigger than ever.

Also, thought it was interesting that one of the guitarists wasn't there, and they played as a four piece. Maybe nothing, they certainly didn't need him for a one shot on Kimmel, but just thought it was notable.

If the entire band did, and the drummer riser was patterned the same, the back-drop, maybe the bassdrum-head, etc... It would make more sense.

Probably has a cushioned pad underneath so it's easier on his body standing for hours. I know a few teachers who use them. He's also using orthotic shoes..for support and to make him taller

It’s a pad similar to what mechanics and or restaurant kitchen staff use when standing on concrete/hard floors all day. Dudes knees and ankles have to be crushed into powder these days after carrying on so much weight, plus being an obvious diabetic.
