You mean the Brian and Angus show? There is no more AC/DC...

They looked 100 years old at Power Trip. I’ll stick to the River Plate DVD.

No doubt this will move huge numbers, But yes, the guys looked pretty ancient at Powertrip. Doesn’t help the look when Cliff bowed out.

Angus should retire AC/DC and start another band. He has more than enough money to walk away from it. Then he can wear pants!

As long as Axl and Slash are in the band, nobody cares about the other members except for 3 people on this forum that don't go to concerts anymore because they're too old and people stand up in front of them.

100%. And I thought they were old then, but atleast it was the BIB line up.

Re: AC/DC may be about to announce a tour
AC/DC is a little like The Stones. As long as Brian and Angus are there they can keep going just the same as Mick and Keith.
Looking at AC/DC Brian and Angus are the whole show as far as stage presence is concerned. The other guys are just part of the scenery. Not many will care who's playing bass or drums and the cousin has settled into rhythm guitar nicely by now. None of those guys strayed from their spot on stage just in front of the amps. X marked the spot and they never moved from that spot, ever.
They're there to keep the bottom end going strong. They're the steak, Brian and Angus are the sizzle.

Re: AC/DC may be about to announce a tour
For me it's not how they look on stage, it's how they play. You may be able to get away with replacing Cliff, but you can't replace Phil Rudd and call it AC/DC in my opinion. Stevie has been solid replacing Malcolm, but this would be too much of a stretch.Lobo wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 10:44 am AC/DC is a little like The Stones. The difference in the amount of money touring as ac/dc vs. Angus and Brian is massive as well

I don’t care if it’s Angus, Brian, and a random shitty teenage garage band backing them up, I’ll still go see Angus play guitar one more time.

I don't think his disability checks can cover both the Stones and AC/DC in the same year

I think I'll skip seeing this in a stadium. Even the Stones can pull off their songs better than this.

Why didn't AC/DC ever play on a Poison tour?

Does anyone know the prices of AC/DC shirts for the upcoming tour and if they'll be available in XXL?

Re: AC/DC may be about to announce a tour
ScabC/DC just announced an European tour. So far 22 shows from May 17 to Aug 17 but there's plenty of space in between to book additional shows.
Matt Laug continues on drums and Chris Chaney (who played with Tommy Lee, Alanis Morrissette and Jane's Addiction) on bass.

30th June, Sunday night headlining slot at Glastonbury before they do the two London dates would be my guess.Love_Industry wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 3:10 am ScabC/DC just announced an European tour. Paris date falls on August 13th...The town is going to be overrun with stupid Olympic Games tourists, I'll likely be down south at the beach... No See/DC.

Will you rent out your place during the Olympics, and sip cocktails at the beach from that sweet sweet airbnb-cash?Psychobolia.com wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 4:09 am Paris date falls on August 13th...The town is going to be overrun with stupid Olympic Games tourists, I'll likely be down south at the beach... I have a spare room that I regularly rent out. I'll likely rent it out during the occasional weeks I'm here this summer. But not sure about renting out the spare room while I'm away!jens wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 5:05 amWill you rent out your place during the Olympics, and sip cocktails at the beach from that sweet sweet airbnb-cash?Psychobolia.com wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 4:09 am Paris date falls on August 13th...The town is going to be overrun with stupid Olympic Games tourists, I'll likely be down south at the beach... Re: AC/DC may be about to announce a tour
The insurance on this tour has to be INSANE!
Love these guys, but can't see them finishing all the dates......Who knows.
3 months is a long time to be committed - Sure its only every 4th day, but still............................
They should not be going out as weak as Powertrip was.
