They had to pay a symphony big bucks to do an album with Metallica. Why would they do an album with a C band?

C bands on here typically have a couple of gold albums in the US. This is a D band.Rocker4Real wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 8:46 am They had to pay a symphony big bucks to do an album with Metallica. Why would they do an album with a C band?

I thought one of their albums reached Gold. We'll have to do a further audit.DemonFilth2001 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 9:19 amC bands on here typically have a couple of gold albums in the US. I did check a while ago and they didn't have any certifications.Rocker4Real wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 9:31 amI thought one of their albums reached Gold. Neither did Saxon or Rainbow. Didn't Rainbow headline arenas in the US with Joe Lynn Turner?

Once someone has traveled to a new location, of course they don't wanna pay for an audit to see if they went Gold with their former company.

Of course they do. Motorhead was primarily known for their appearance on the Young Ones. That's not gonna get you close to gold.Rocker4Real wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 1:15 pm Once someone has traveled to a new location, of course they don't wanna pay for an audit to see if they went Gold with their former company.

I like Motorhead. I have purchased several albums. They are a D level band in the USA.DemonFilth2001 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 6:24 pmOf course they do. They never needed to because that would have defeated the point of them being Motörhead, wouldn't it?

And that explains Lemmy saying he made more money from Ozzy's No More Tears album than all Motorhead albums combined......and he didn't even have publishing or royalties on that record, he sold the lyrics for a fixed lump sum to Ozzy....BernieTaupson wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 4:38 am 24 studio albums, 16 live albums, 16 compilations.

Accept did one and it's horrible.
Udo's solo band did one too, I refuse to subject my hearing to it because I know it'll suck.

What’s big deal hipsters only know that one Motorhead song
Walmart could sell T-shirt and song for 6.66$
Call it something stupid like “WalMotorhead Monday 6.66$”

Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Is there any hard rock or metal band that did a good album with a symphony? Metallica and Kiss don't seem that bad but not great either. And Leppard and Scorps blow.

I liked Motorhead. I still thought I did. Now that I know that they didn't sell a lot of records, I don't like them anymore.
