Kalodner's Folly. None of those records even went copper.Mister Freeze wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 4:06 pm Kinda weird. CMC became a place for bands in the '90s who could no longer get attention from major labels... Then got bought by a major label.

Van Halen as well. No volume 2, next best of they put out was Best of Both Worlds and they fucked that up too.Rocker4Real wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 5:08 pm Warrant '96 Belly To Belly Volume One

lol. I thought the same for a second. Here in Charlotte, CMC means Christian McCaffrey.
When asked about the title, Jani said he didn't know why it was called Warrant '96 Volume One. It was all CMC's marketing.Hellbound wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 1:53 amVan Halen as well. This cover would have been so much better! I still love the album. I picked up a used copy last weekend for $1 and sold it for $25 this week. I guess it's still OOPHueyRamone wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 3:40 pm Jugulator would have been a good album cover, had Jayne Andrews not fucked it up.

What's the story with Portrait? I actually liked the Ratt and Great White records, wish we could have gotten the Cinderella record. I'm surprised that one hasn't leaked...Mister Freeze wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 5:36 pm
The Portrait fiasco deserves its own thread. And probably its own documentary.
I think Great White's "Rollin' Stoned" was the biggest "hit" from that label.
