Foreigner live at Harrah’s last night
The current version of Foreigner played at a local Harrah’s Ak-Chin casino last night.
They fucking rocked! I think there is maybe one original member but damn they were great! The singer sounded spot on and the band is tight. Featuring Jeff Pilson (Dokken) on bass and keyboards. They did all the hits and played like they were in an arena. The crowd was stoked and sang along to every song. I fucking loved it. The last time I saw them was at Day On The Green in 1982. They were better last night!
This is their “farewell” tour, it even said that on the shirts at the merch table.
If you are a fan, check them out if/when they come to your area.

There’s no original members at all, unless Mick Jones got up for a song.
That being said - Kelly Hansen is a powerhouse vocalist so they sort of get a pass, even though it is really just a tribute band at this point. They did do one album with Kelly about 15 years ago. Really good single, can’t remember the rest of the album I think it was a bit average.

They are a solid tribute band

No one wants to hear a Foreigner deep cut
KEYBOARD WARRIOR!

I'd be down to hear them do Tooth and Nail. Good album opener. And it'd have some subtle irony for Pilson.
*I kinda want a new screenname. Seriously. I barely watch racing anymore.

No Hurricane hits#refund
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

It's a fucking cover band
I mean, nothing wrong with that, but to compare what you saw to 1982 Day on the Green is idiotic.
Totally different bands.
