Still have no idea how he got on Def Lep’s radar though…did he know their management?

Always cool when good things happen to good people. Never heard a bad word about this dude...although I really dislike Trixter.

Seems like a well adjusted, realistic, and talented guy. It's weird to read an interview with a guy like that on this board.

The first Trixter CD was one of the first ones I bought after I got a CD player when I was 13.

Nice to see an 80’s rocker with his head screwed on right, and humble as well. Great interview.

Interesting that Def Lep had him on retainer, learning Viv and Phil’s parts… just in case. Imagine the size and scope of an organization that can do that. Not to mention the work Steve had to put in.

Definitely seems like a good guy. Those SBS guitars are no joke either. Are they $4K Fender Custom Shops? No. But I'd put it up against a Charvel So Cal any day of the week, for less than half the cost.
It's not that I'm lazy.....it's that I don't care.

The “10,000 Volts” record is a big hit all around the world. It continues to build up steam and I’m just so thankful to be friends with Ace, and thrilled to see his career still kickin’ ass after 50 years.
Lowest selling album of his career and despite him saying how great it is and how it’s going to make his ex bandmates look stupid he’s only played one song from it live and wouldn’t dare attempt another one since it’s obvious he’s barely playing on his own record!

I’m sure he’s a nice guy but goddamn every cliche in the book in that interview….between that and his and his image, he may as well be an AI version of a former C level rock star.

Plus his arrogance during the press of the 10,000 volts album was fucking lame. The album is not great.

Anyone, nice guy.

That's neat. 40 years in sales and marrying smart bought my house...

Cool read. I always kind of thought Trixter was pretty bad but I gained a lot of respect for him reading this interview.

Smart of him to buy a house back then when he was so young. He still lives in that same house. It's not to far from where I live in New York. Very nice and expensive area. His house has to worth between $500,000-$700,000 and I'm sure back in the early 90s it cost around $125,000-$150,000. Also I'm sure it's long paid off if he even ever had a mortgage. Also Tokyo Motor Fist has some really great songs!!! Better than anything Trixter ever did.

No Mark "Gus" Scott, no Trixter.........

And it looks like Brown has assumed the lead vocals position?
