Bands you would pay to see, but not travel for
What are some bands you would pay to see if they came to your city? Many bands I would pay 25 bucks to see locally, but not invest the time and gas driving an hour to see. LA Guns and Babylon AD come to mind.

I won’t go over a couple of hours to see any band.
I drove 1.25 hours to see Collective Soul once.
Drove from Huntington Beach to Chula Vista with some friends to see Phish years ago. They were fans. I went to just do drugs and people watch. The show was good

Burnt out on concerts for the most part. Used to travel hours when I was younger. Now I live in a city where numerous acts tour, I commute no longer than 30 minutes. And even then, I mostly can't be bothered. I've seen most of the bands/artists i want to. And they are not getting any better live!
Only exception would be dua lipa.

This. But if I have to list some that are still active/touring, I would pay to see Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Def Leppard. Depending on setlist and recent performances of course.
The ones I would travel for... from big names Journey and Poison as they never play here.
