It's better than anything I've heard from them in years. Kind of a little of Have A Nice Day in the verses. The chorus reminds me of something from 7800 or Slippery era...can't put my finger on that.

I predict its Shanks playing lead guitar and talk box, no F’n way he’s going to let Phil X get credit for bringing back the talk box.

It’s catchy but gets old fast.

Richie also dropped a new song today “Believe In Miracles” … atleast it sounds real.

I hate Shanks, but I hope so. Wasting Phil X on that solo (which even I could play) would be a travesty. Phil knows what he's doing. Collecting a big league paycheck, continuing sessions in the "off-season," and playing like a maniac with The Drills (where he probably has the most fun).

You, too, can dress like Jon at age 62 and honor his legacy FOREVER.

I like this song a lot better than the last single. I too hate John Shanks. I hate everything about him. He's all over that song. The talk box in Bon Jovi should only be used by Richie Sambora. That some Tommy Thayer type shit over there.

Did Phil X get to use the talk box?

Not bad at all.

Catchy chorus, but too much talk box in the verses.

It cracks me up at the excitement of the talk box like we're back to Livin'... days. On another note, why do Jon's teeth in all the recent interviews look like they could be George Washington's wooden chompers?

This is the exact kind of song these guys should be doing at this point. Although the production sounds like it's run through a computer (like everything these days).

The verses follow the Mom Jovi single format: two measures of singing, followed by two measures of music, repeat. ("Have a Nice Day", "This House is Not For Sale", etc.)

That's 100% what I was gonna say!

It kills me to say this but Jon just forgot how to sing or write. And he's letting John Shanks lead the way. This is what we are getting every record now.

He needs a different collaborator. That's why Richie was perfect. Desmond Child, Bruce Fairbairn (RIP!) and Bob Rock didn't hurt either!!!

It doesn't suck. It's not like I hate it. It's just not as good as it should be.

Watch the clips Shanks is showing Phil X and David what to play … Phil X says all the time that he’ll do a great solo and Shanks will say “That’s great but let’s try this and that” and before you know it it’s a Shanks solo not a Phil X solo.

Phil X said he feels like he’s playing handcuffed in Bon Jovi … and he is thanks to Shanks.

I’m surprised he actually says these things, I guess he’s not scared of being fired … IMO nobody would be happier if Richie came back than Phil X.

Sounds like it.

2 guys who have it great, but could care less if they got fired. Phil X and Arnel Pineda

Yeah, it's catchy but it just has no energy to it... totally fucking lifeless.

I suppose at least it has A solo, as opposed to the guitar being completely ignored.

Shanks is so lame.

I like the song.

The album has potential, maybe his best release post-The Circle (2009)

The riff is like the first "original" riff any beginner first plays when they're 13. How did someone play that and others go, "that's it!?" Embarrassingly bad. Oh, it was Shank and the others were also Shank.

Phil X is not promoting the new single on his Instagram, so no doubt it’s all Shanks.

This.

Jon’s voice is absolutely fried no matter how many surgeries/recoveries he does. The music is just there, it’s safe and pedestrian. Not a fan of Shanks, Phil X or the bullshit bongo player the band seemingly needed to add for no reason. I’m curious as to when Tico and David decide to say fuck this noise?

I changed my mind after hearing it a few more times. It didn't grow on me. It did the opposite.

Good tune. Nice to hear them rocking again and Jon seems to have his voice back.

I’m not buying the voice on these songs … it’s not AI but it has a lot of help.

2 songs and I haven’t heard a decent guitar solo yet … not back. IMO

Legendary - no solo
Living Proof - Decent, not a proper solo it deserves
Kiss The Bride - slow and sad
Hollow Man - slow and boring

Everyone I’ve read that were at the listening parties say Living Proof is the best song on the new album … so it’s downhill from here … the choruses will all be catchy of course he's great at that but the songs and solos will be weak. IMO
