It strikes me as the same as families that spend their bank accounts to take their children to Disney World when they really shouldn't be spending their money there. They all look a little "slow" and low on the pay scale, but spending a few $K for a meet-and-greet is worth it to them.

At least a few of these people are media guests or crew - especially the singles who aren't wearing Kiss swag.

Bands like Kiss have handlers who bring them enough people for these meet-and-greets to feel important. As bored as they look, Gene and Paul would be truly sour if they showed up backstage and only three people wanted photos.

Not only is he grabbing Eric Singer's junk, he's wearing a Gene Simmons "I AM INDY" promotional cap from his failed marketing campaign twenty years ago* and the icing on the cake for his glorious photo to display in his KISS Shrine - Gene's face looks like a winking asshole after eating a crate of hot peppers.

* He got his great Simmons Records discovery BAG to do a theme song called I AM INDY and a few years later the official IndyCar Communications Director posted an apology for how bad it was.
