Rock and roll was built on rebelliousness and disrupting the social order, all "liberal" kinds of ideas.

Nothing says "rock and roll" more than forcing women to do housework, outlawing abortion and the gays, censoring music and media, and segregation.

DangerZone, more like the "DumbAsaPileofShitZone."

I don't care if someone is conservative or liberal, but suggesting that rock and roll was built on a base of conservative values is fucking stupid.

Kid Rock is a fucking asshole trying to be relevant!
His number was up years ago!
A Detroit, awful, white rapper, turned country?
And "borrowed" a Lynyrd Skynyrd song to do it?
He's the worst!!

Years and years ago, 2002-ish, I had a picture of Stevie and Ralph Sanez on a cork board above my desk at work.
The morons I worked with thought Stevie was Kid Rock.
I also had and Alice Cooper doll on a shelf above my desk. The same morons thought it was a KISS doll!

I know Stevie is a fan of Kid Rock, we differ on opinions there! I think he's a douchebag, and he's always been gross to me!

Rolling Stone magazine is toilet paper, they should focus on music instead of political bullshit...
I have no idea if Kid Rock is racist, but you’d have to be pretty naive to think those things mean he couldn’t be.

And Rolling Stone is trash, but they covered political stuff from the jump.

Rolling Stone is for sissified sissies. No longer cool. Totally irrelevant to real rock&rollers.

Ok I just read the whole article.

What, exactly, isn’t fair about this?

What is “agenda-driven” about this? What the fuck does that even mean? It’s well-written, gives good historical context for where he came from, and as far as I know it quotes him accurately.

He’s a sad thirsty alcoholic loser contrarian troll who has lots of money but needs attention more than anything else.

I come across someone like this approximately once a month at some social gathering or another. As they get more and more drunk, they get edgier and edgier (in their own mind at least), and by the end of the night no one wants to talk to them and they whine that nobody likes them and nobody can take a joke.

Other than being rich, he’s the exact same sort of person. And seems to be quite proud of it. Fair enough.

Honestly, I think you can throw Adam Carolla in that camp, too, except these days he doesn't need the alcohol that much (but he's still a drunk).

Kid Rock is performing on his Rock n Rodeo on CBS, with JellyRoll in tow. Surprising that they're giving him airtime on network TV.

Attempt at a witch hunt, but nobody gives a f about rolling stone magazine, that’s for sure. Maybe they did in the early 90’s.
