The truth of the matter is that Rachel, Scotti and myself have continually felt the same way, that we enjoy being happy in this band and we're really happy.

"It's been such a great experience for the last however, 35 years, everything, all the ups, all the downs, everything, but we just don't wanna revisit that particular aspect of our history," he explained. "I love the songs, love a lot of the memories, not fond of some of the memories, but just as individuals and as a collective, that's just how we feel. So this is not on Rachel. And this has nothing to do with anyone's ego or anything like that. So that's just gotta be clear. Again, for anyone to sit there and make assumptions that this is Rachel Bolan saying 'nope,' it's not. It's the three of us, and we've all collectively sat there and just said that we don't wanna do it. We just don't wanna do it. And we wish everybody all the best."

As a fan of SR, i think it's stupid they could never get it to work..but damn, these guys have never wavered. I think there was one time where they considered it and Bach did something stupid within minutes.

Gotta respect the SR guys for choosing happiness over a payday.

Speaking of ex-Skid Row singers, Erik Grönwall got up on stage and sang Cherokee with Europe in Stockholm yesterday Thursday. Europe were great by the way, they are usually good live but this was the best of the 5 shows I saw in the last 10 years. Local band so they play here a lot

Well, whether you got along with him or not, those guys don't and they've stuck by that, not allowing money to sway them. That's admirable. I have absolutely no doubt that they'd do better with Bach, and I'm sure they know that, too.

Millions of marriages that stay together just for the kids. What is amazing is that the three SRs can't figure out how to do what millions of married people have figured out. And we aren't even talking about a marriage. Marriage is under the same roof for years, often close to 24/7. A SR reunion would be maybe 40-50 dates, on stage for 90 minutes. Separate hotels, separate transportation, separate dressing rooms, separate everything. I get that they have said no to Back 20,000 times. Why can't they come out and say the obvious. This has nothing to do with being happy. They are just spiteful douches.

Except there aren't any kids involved, I mean, other than Sebastian. They've said 20,000 times that they'd rather be happy than do the "separate everything tour." They don't like the guy, it wouldn't make them happy to do it, so why do something you're not going to like? The only person it would make happy is Sebastian, and it's obvious to them the guy has never changed. They certainly haven't seen any maturity growth since 1997. Not everybody who breaks up needs a reunion.

That being said, I really enjoy Sebastian's new album, much more than the Skid Row one with Erik. Hopefully this interview by Snake doesn't push Sebastian off the deep end where he goes on rants during the rest of his tour. He needs to just focus on his own stuff and accept the Skid Row reunion isn't happening. He's been out of the band 27 years and he's only put out 4 full solo records, and his newest one is the best one. He should have been putting out a record every 2 years and working his ass off. Instead it's always felt like he's been waiting for the reunion call and living in the past.

A few notes here...

The only way Lzzy does Skid Row long term is if Skid Row takes a backseat to Halestorm, and only plays dates when Halestorm is off. Being that Skid Row is a touring band, I don't see how they'd be able to function like that, they need that touring revenue. And I definitely have a hard time seeing a new Skid Row album with her singing. Did she do a good job on these fill in dates? Absolutely, but I dunno, this feels like when Anthrax tried to get Corey Taylor to sing for them, I just don't see how it would actually work.

Snake doing this interview is...weird. It's pretty clear now that Rob Affuso has no issues with Sebastian, so it's almost like he somehow felt the need to fully band their side together? I dunno, I'm just not sure what the point of making that statement was, unless he REALLY felt the need to defend Rachel, and I just don't know why he'd do that, unless Rachel has just been getting more crap than usual recently about the situation. Also, Rachel has ALWAYS seemed like a dick that just happened to be a decent songwriter, and at some point, over that 30+ years, perception is reality, no matter what Snake says.

I dunno, it almost seems like a false flag at this point, really trying to drive the point home that they don't like each other, to make it a bigger surprise when they do get back together next year, or something, but maybe my tinfoil needs tightening.
