Not at all.

I no longer have the gene for excitement of any new release. Bands trickle out half an album before the full release, so I'm often tired of it before it goes live.

I'm stoked for the new Opeth album after hearing the old-school sounding preview.

Are they considered a Gen X band? I'm 54 and couldn't give two shits about them.

I saw them at Irving plaza two summers ago from the side of the stage and they absolutely crushed. I just really can’t get into any of the new stuff or want to see them in some shed/arena. They really belong in a club like that.

I listened to Siamese Dream about a month ago - goddamn what a great album. Does any of their newer stuff sound like that?
