I saw two shitty Aeroshit shows ("Rock In A Hard Place" and "Pump"). First show, Tyler was high/drunk. He sucked. Second show, Tyler sucked. Boring band. Shitty, soccer mom setlist.

For what? Actually singing?

Paul would have killed for rhe success Aerosmith had in the 80s/90s.

Paul was probably pissed Tyler refused to go on before KiSS in 2003.

On the KISS/Aeroshit tour, Paul and Gene invited Tyler to fly with them on their plane back to L.A. and Tyler went with them.

After, in the press, Tyler was badmouthing KISS. Paul called him out.

At the first night (of two shows) in Boston on the "Alive/Worldwide" (reunion) tour, Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford were sitting to my right in lower arena (stage left). When "Toys In The Attic" was played over the PA, the two of them stood up and waved. The audience applauded. Joe Perry was supposedly backstage.

Paul likes Joe and Brad. I'm not sure about Tom. He thinks Tyler is a cunt. Peter Criss said that Joey Kramer was an asshole.

Paul had all the success that he could ever have wanted.

Was Paul pissed about going on before Aeroshit? Probably. Not enough not to do the tour. KISS and Aeroshit received the same amount of money, stage time, promotion, etc. KISS played to a full house each night. Tyler played to a lot of empty seats after KISS fans left some of the shows after seeing a few songs during Aeroshit's boring set.

Tyler was the one who refused to bring the tour overseas, where they would have been the one going on first. KISS was bigger than them in Europe, Australia, South America, and Japan.

Tyler would have killed for the success KISS had in the '70s and since 1996, particularly KISS' biggest tour ("End Of The Road" - 250 shows).

Stanley would tell Tyler to go fuck himself.
Actually, he'd pre-record it, then pretend to tell Tyler to go fuck himself.

That's how the big boys do it, right?

Neither of us believe that. Otherwise, Syncin' Stanley wouldn't have shit all over his legacy by miming to tape for the last 4 years of his career. At least Tyler and Aerosmith have more integrity than to stoop to that.

Syncin' Stanley was so clearly desperate for the kind of massive success Aerosmith had in the 90s, that he tried to follow the exact same script recording a schmaltzy Diane Warren ballad for a movie soundtrack. Except, unlike Aerosmith's massive #1 hit, "Nothing Can Keep Me From You" was a horrendous piece of shit that nobody ever wants to hear again.

Paul's a multi-millionaire. He ended his career with KISS' most successful and longest tour.

Aeroshit most likely couldn't get the tour insured, therefore, no tour. I'm happy that asshole blew his voice out and the band came to a halt.

Paul's voice went due to aging, not drugs and alcohol, like Tyler's did. KISS, RUSH, and Kansas have nothing good to say about that asshole.

Aeroshit never had dignity. I guess you didn't see a drugged up/drunk Tyler on stage. I did. He sucked.

Paul was friends with Diane Warren before she ever worked with Aeroshit.

Both Warren songs suck.

Very sad day but not surprising for obvious reasons.

Aerosmith were one of very few if not the only band that still brought it live up until the very end. Don’t take my word for it - all you have to do is watch a few minutes of their last 2023 show in New York.

Very proud that they decided to bow out and not take the route of lip syncing their way to finish the tour - the fans deserve better than that and the band knew it enough to call it off.

Did Steven have some help towards the end with background singers and a keyboardist helping - absolutely. But IMO the essence of Aerosmith live was there right until the very end and Tyler remained one of the absolute great frontmen in rock even in their last shows.

Thanks for the music boys 😎

It's crazy that the USA couldn't get even vaguely close to what the UK produced. Aerosmith are a solid 7/10 band but nowhere near the same league as the absolute monsters that came from the UK.

I won't miss them but they had a few good songs for sure.

Aerosmith sold millions more than Kiss, more popular 70's, 80's and 90's.

How many multiplatinum albums do Kiss have?

Aerosmith will be remembered for music

Kiss will not. They are a joke.

I'm listening to an Axl/DC show right now (the Belgium bootleg is brilliant), and the thought occurs, Aerosmith could call up Axl and he just might say yeah!

It would be doubly great as Axl wouldn't be sitting in that stupid throne this time.

We already know he can nail Mama Kin, why not let him do a European run to make up for the shows they cancelled last year? (I had a ticket, this would have been my second Aerosmith show).

KISS could have gone out with a shred of dignity, but saw clowns like you as marks that the could dupe into buying expensive tickets for complete fakery.

Seriously, how do you not have an ounce of self-respect to not be able to say no to blatant fraud?

They laugh at you.. and so do I.

It was time for them to go, but sad news regardless. I wasn't deeply invested in 70s Aerosmith, so I don't buy into the hate for the later years. I saw them on the Permanent Vacation and Get a Grip tours and they were on fire.

Top 5 best live bands I've ever seen. Maybe not a huge accomplishment given the number of Ratt and Motley shows I've attended. 8)

I wonder if the Black Crowes are disappointed or relieved?

Aeroshit wanted to say goodbye and didn't.

Kiss didn't say goodbye.

Kiss played their final show like it was any other on their sad, stale Memorex tour without straying from the click track or offering a hint of gratitude, appreciation or sentimentality.

The only difference was they tacked on a commercial at the end to give their fans yet something else to buy, which is the most "Kiss" thing they could've possibly done.

Bang Tango has better career than Aerosmith
Those Club Vodka shows for decade were all legendary
Bang Tango reunion better than any Aerosmith era
So glad I saw Bang Tango in 1992 ..one of greatest shows ever

Let’s be honest : Paul Miss is complete p*ssy compared to Rammstein singer guy

Rammstein and Def Leppard stadium gig tours next decade yippee

Joe Perry will probably join Bon Jovi
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Aerosmith have been generous with US audiences, stingy abroad. In the last 20 years I've had tickets for the 2 Aerosmith shows in Paris, first show was killer, last one was postponed and then cancelled. Not everyone has the desire to hop into an aeroplane to go see a band...

End of an Aera. Saw many shows over many years. Not a dud in the bunch. Saddened I'll never see another, but relieved they're not dragging their legacy through the mud. I'd rank this alongside Zep and Rush for dignified exit.
