The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

Very cool setup for the new Linkin Park tour. Judging by the full concert vids and crowd reactions, this tour is going to pump huge numbers similar to Creed. The opening classic tracks absolute slap hard and the crowd is receptive to Emily in the band,

But all the dorks on Reddit said the danny masteron/scientology thing was going to harpoon their career and the reunion is DOA!

Not a LP at all, but obviously this is going to be huge for them. They sound great and have the kind of fanbase that's gonna come out big time.

Emily sounds great.

I wasn't ever going to spend a dime on them anyway, so whether or not she skeeves me out doesn't matter. I think it'll be a big deal to some people, but it won't be enough to put a dent in sales, unless something else major comes out, ala Tom Cruise.

Even if she's a whacko, she's talented, and as long as they continue to do this limited touring, her voice should hold up. I've seen some fans say that maybe there's certain songs they shouldn't play without Chester, and I think that makes sense.

I really would like to know if Brad and Rob stepping away had anything to do with it, as opposed to just what they've said online, but I'm pretty sure that even if there was something else there, we'll never know.

It sounds fine (perhaps a little too perfect at times…), more power to them and anyone wanting to see it. Seeing LP ~10x between 2000-2008 had a big impact on me growing up and I'm sure seeing the next best thing will be a good experience for a lot of people.

For a bunch of reasons it’s just not getting me on board the way the revamped AIC and Pantera have. I might be wrong but based on what little I’ve read about Skynyrd this feels a bit like their situation in the ‘90s where only half the surviving members were taking part?

Never was a Linkin fan, but the new song is good, and Emily kicks ass on it and live. Great choice and rollout. Apart from the Scientology thing, that I think everyone will get over in a months time.

I never knew before how shitty Shinoda is as a singer. He was damn lucky not to have gotten tossed right before their first album. I looked at the video for One Step Closer, and he mimes Chester singing "Gets me one step closer to the edge and Im about to break" and when he has to do it live, it's lame as hell.

If he was a key songwriter, I guess that might change shit, but better talents have been let go from bands than him due to not measuring up.

Shinoda was and is LP. He’s like Blackie in WASP. The one guy in the band people know.
