I didn’t watch all of it, but from what I saw I thought he didn’t sound bad.

He didn't' seem ...ummm...overmedicated as I have seen in the past.

Not completely embarrassing.

If he was playing early at a festival, and I happened to be there, I might stay for a few songs...so there's that.

A crowd of metalheads watching and somewhat enjoying a band fronted by a disabled, elderly, half Brazilian Muslim more than 40 years after he last was in a successful band. And some people say metal isn't inclusive...

Huh, that's the best he's looked/sounded in ages. I wonder if he's trying to work his way into some of those 50th Anniversary shows Maiden just announced for next year.

I saw him in 2010 and thought it was the best Iron Maiden show in several years.

OK. I'm a big fan of the 1st 2 Maiden records but am unclear exactly what happened to Paul.

I can't watch more than the 15 seconds. Why is he in a wheelchair? Is he at fault for screwing up his life here or an innocent victim of some heinous disease?

I guess I'm trying to figure out how much sympathy to feel for the guy. Things look pretty pathetic from what I can tell. If he'd taken better care of himself would he not be in such a terrible condition?

Apologies for not knowing the full backstory like a good little Maiden fan but I felt they dropped the heavy metal ball mid of Piece of Mind...

Paul Di'Anno is Phil Rudd with less money. So yes, it's all his own doing.

Yeah, but his nuts would be riding shotgun.

On that note, Paul sounds great here. What's the problem?

Seriously, Di'Anno sounds more like his early self than Bruce does and I find it admirable. How many years has Paul been sitting in the hospital lately?
