That poor dude came to see my band on one of the most piss poor nights we ever played, at some nowhere bar in San Diego. Then, he proceeded to buy us a round of beers and I didn't even know it was CanadianMetal until he told me it was later on here.

Brewed in Rochester, NY, right? You could always find Genny beers all over upstate NY. For a while Genny Ice was about the cheapest six pack you could get in an Ontario liquor store.MattleyCrue wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 5:29 pm My favorite beer is Genny Light made by Genesee Brewing Company!
I don't really like most of their beers, but the Cream Ale is alright. That was around long before cream ales, IPAs and craft brewing became trendy.

Dude going be sad can’t ice fish on vacation
Non stop talk about Bret Hart
Every drunk in bar will have Rush tour shirt on just like the 2 new drinking buddies
Definitely drop the beer act and drink Cosmopolitans like the girls on Sex And The City…find Country Pussy rooftop bar and Jason Aldean matching shirts

I like this storyline- I’m all in
Next “meet up” is November 25 for Monday Night Raw in Glendale AZ?
Most would think Tuff show at Whisky was best storyline- nah this is real to me

He was going to Accept/KKs Priest show in Phoenix that night.
My wife and I met him at the local watering hole about 3pm, after work.
Spent about 2 1/2 hrs discussing music (mostly), work, family, health care and a little politics.
My wife and I were curious about the Canadian healthcare, and political systems.
The only Sludger we briefly discussed was Mojo, and CM seeing him in SD.
He’s a good dude that goes on many adventures, and it was fun to hear about them, many being spots that we have looked into after retirement.
It was not the least bit weird.
Almost like seeing an old high school friend from 40yrs ago.

Re: I’m off to meet Canadian Metal for a beer
Well I made it back last night from my action packed epic Arizona adventure , all in one piece & only slightly more tan than when I left ..lol
I would like to thank VVV and his lovely wife for their hospitality!
They were both wonderful and thankfully VVV does not look anything like an old Vinnie ( like some of you may have imagined).
As for the actual beer … I asked the server for a local beer and she brought this one that was very much as she described it , like drinking the essence of a blueberry muffin , wow it was fantastic , I just wish I could remember the name of it now …lol
The time chatting went by so fast as it seemed like only an hour but it was 2.5 hours and was already time to leave for my concert before we knew it . Was not till I was driving to the concert that I realized we had forgotten to take any photos during our meeting !
This meeting reaffirmed my opinion that we all have more in common than we might think , and should try to get together if the opportunity arises , as you will find it very rewarding ( like I did).
This whole trip was amazing and every day and meal was awesome !
When I travel , I always like to plan out the best places and restaurants I want to visit and things I want to explore/ experience, that way I don’t waste valuable time during the trip to figure out what I want to do .
I did find that I only ate once a day while I was in Arizona , perhaps a combination of the weather and being so busy ( one meal was great while all others were spectacular ) .
Perhaps I will start a thread with more day to day details on this great action packed trip so others can take advantage of what I learned and did , especially those who have never been to Arizona.
I always say , I can sleep when I get back home … and I finally did last night lol
