Oh it’s terrible, that’s the whole point. These bastard versions are quite hard to come by now, they’re interesting in a train wreck sort of way.

It is interesting I agree. But I've never been able to listen to them. I heard that the groove is all off because Randy always played slightly ahead of the beat and when they redid the rhythm section they screwed up the original pocket and Randy sounds off now.

That dirty crab walker stole money out of Bob's pocket. Bob needs that money for fine scotch and hair care products.

I mean, if you're not familiar with how it's SUPPOSED to sound, it's not horrible. Definitely not as good, though, I can hear why people were upset.

It's amazing how far someone can go for sprite. Very British.

I bought one of those back in the day. I noticed it sounded weird. Sold it to a used CD store.

I'm hesitant to edit the typo, because some people will go far for Sprite. (Very American.)

Re: Ozzy 2002 re-records
Ozzy is such a scumbag - save the "It was Sharon" horse shit. Ozzy put her in charge.
The craziest thing about the 2002 re-recordings is that they didn't even bother to try and match the sound of the originals. Over the Mountain sounds TERRIBLE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnk1PluZIiA
I give Trujillo and the other guy a pass - I'm sure they hated every minute and knew fans would blow up on them, but they had jobs to keep.

Daisley wrote all the lyrics, they should have written new ones for those 2002 bastardised versions.

Anybody who bitches about them are posers that never had the originals anyway.
Who the hell cares? You don't actually think the original players were still making money off them, do you?

Re: Ozzy 2002 re-records
wtf are you talking about. Plenty of people re-bought them in 2002 because they were advertised as being remasters, with some bonus stuff on them. Then people played them and found out they had the rhythm section replaced. Don’t you remember all the shit that went down when it happened?Wednesday 13 Fan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 8:08 pm Anybody who bitches about them are posers that never had the originals anyway.

Please...one track each and one was a live track. It being "remastered" was a joke then and now.BernieTaupson wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 8:12 pmwtf are you talking about. In 2002 and especially if you were 13/14 just getting into Ozzy because you heard about some Randy Rhoads dude being awesome on guitar...we just didn't know about that kind of thing yet.Wednesday 13 Fan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 1:50 pmPlease...one track each and one was a live track. Once I started spending more time on the internet I heard about what happened with those remasters and still, this was pre-YouTube. I had to find 2nd hand copies of the original versions off eBay before I finally heard the real deal.
The Osbourne's definitely made some bank off us ignorants before we got wise to their bullshit.
