Did they ever actually saw his health had something to do with it, or was it just asumed?

He has a tour lined up with Michael Schenker, so I'm inclined to think the other Skids are the problem. Again.

He wrote a book? I'm intrigued and yet I wonder who would buy it, all at the same time....

Damn, really?

Like already mentioned, no matter how much the band talks negatively about Bach, it is pretty clear they must be somehow toxic bunch to work with.

It is really really hard to imagine they will ever hit the same jackpot again like they hit with Erik. Their loss.

"There's no problem for me singing. I just did 45 cities. Let me repeat that number. 45. I didn't do four shows. I didn't cancel half of the fucking shows. I actually did 45 shows in a row and I'm about to do another 45 cities. So the answer is yes, ." - SB

That would be a great point, if we knew what the hell he was responding to there.

I'm actually annoyed I didn't go see either of the shows here, but unfortunately had other stuff going on that weekend.

A lot of those Swedish and Frontiers Records bands ALL sound the same.

This song sounds NOTHING like Skid Row, Rachel and Snake were correct to pass.

While I agree Erik is a phenomenal singer, I don't particularly care for, or think this track is anything ground-breaking.

Any link for this, or are you just rambling nonsense from a friend of a friend, who said they heard it from someone who knew a guy that knew the band!?!

For at least 10-15 years now, the best 80s rock/metal being written is coming out of Scandinavia.

I've been waiting for one of the washed up O.G. acts to have these guys ghost write their new album, or at least a song or two.

Of course I am.

Pretty ignorant to say considering Erik was suffering from, and recovering from a life threatening illness.

It's pretty obvious, that this was a direct dis to Erik & Skid Row, and anyone else who ever had to cancel a show because of a voice issue.

He's also FULL OF SH!T, saying he did 45 shows in a row. Not the case... as "in a row" implies there were no breaks or off-days in between.

It would be great if Erik replied, "I have never been arrested. Let me repeat, I have never been arrested, not once, not twice and not 6, 7 or 8 times."

Bach is a cunt, I've said it for 25+ years, and will never waiver from my opinion.

I don't have any friends........ and I indicated in my initial post that I "read that statement on another message board" (which implied that it was "2nd hand news/gossip").

Will you send me a TUFF t-shirt if I buy/read Erik's Autobiography to confirm, and if I'm wrong. I'll send you a boring Polo shirt with my company logo on it?

No one is asking you to do anything, you clearly have your reasons for not liking Sebastian, and you have every right to state your opinion on things, as you have for twenty years. Believe me, EVERYONE that has ever visited sludge knows you don't like Bach. However, what's being discussed here is the very REAL possibility, that maybe, just maybe, just like in other bands like Van Halen, that he's not the only problem.

As far as did Erik actually say what's been rumored here, yes, I'd like to see it transcribed from the book as well, even if it's translated from Swedish. However, you have to admit, Snake coming out almost immediately after that and attempting to smooth things over is a bit...suspicious. Maybe Snake was just doing his job and answering the question asked of him in an interview (i.e. the Sammy Hagar excuse), but maybe he also felt the need to try to make things look better due to something unflattering coming to light.

As far as that quote from Bach, I believe the inference there was that he was capable of doing a tour, while Skid Row was struggling, and while you can certainly take it as a diss, he's not wrong.

Great song and performance although the euro-metal chorus would make this an even better fit for Europe or Helloween
