Since Ram It Down then? Yeah, Blood Red Skies was better. Otherwise that album blows.

I was thinking Painkiller

A few toe tappers on recent releases but other than Angel, Judas Rising, Lightning Strike nothing plays in my head

Agree. Genuinely shocked they released something I liked.

Yeah, I get that too - It's very faith oriented in lyrical content. The crown of "horns" instead of "thorns" has me scratching my head though. Unless it's a comment on him being the "metal god" for so long.

Best Priest album since Turbo. Firepower was good too so they're on a roll now. Both albums are a bit too long though, they could cut a few same sounding fast tunes off each. BitD, there was only one Exciter, Rapid Fire or or Ram It Down per album.

I'm still listening to it. I've never been a Priest fan but this album smokes.

And Crown of Horns is an instant classic. Great guitar work!
What the hell was that all about?

Turbo was great. Ram it Down was bad. Only got worse.

Until Firepower. I still need to listen to the new one.

Don't bother. It sounds like if AI created a modern Priest sound.

Yeah Firepower was great. The new album is very generic and digital. A small handful of decent songs, inlcuding Crown of Horns, but the best thing about it is the intro to Panic Attack.

If only they would ask the AI to make it sound like Screaming for Vengeance and not Painkiller....

With Scab Travis on drums even Rocka Rolla would sound like Painfiller....
