Most Trump voters will say they don't approve of Jan. 6, but are voting "on policy" or "between the lesser of two evils."

Take it up with them. Trump's policies are shit and even if they weren't, it's not enough to overlook the election denialism in my book.

Don't tell us there's a difference when you know there's not. They didn't say that. You did. BTW, we are taking it up with them, and you're bitching about it.
Yep. For someone who's supposedly not a Trump supporter, he spends an inordinate amount of time defending them.
I don't think he's a Trumptard but he's full of dogshit for thinking it's our fault these people are Trumptards.

Yes, the Clintons are so omnipotent that even when not in office in any capacity, they can have people murdered. You know who the President was when he died, right?

Bill Clinton is a proven sex addict at best, a sexual predator at worst. I am not a fan of him or his wife. But if you're going to say that he had Epstein killed then come up with proof. It's funny how you conspiracy mongers never need to have any proof, though. You just think things and therefore it's true in your warped minds. For the rest of us there's something called supporting evidence. One thing we know is Trump has been photographed with Epstein many, many times. Only a brainwashed cult member would dismiss the possibility out of hand that Trump was involved with Epstein in his deviant behaviors. And now you have an interview from 2017 where Epstein calls himself Trump's closest friend.

So go fuck off.

There are flight logs. We know exactly who was on that plane and when.

The idea that some has-been has the pull to get someone in federal custody murdered is risible.

However, a sitting president who's been documented as a close friend and frequent flier on the "Lolita Express" with a cadre of loyal minions willing to go to prison for him couldn't do it. No way, dude.

Wiseacre wrote: Wed Oct 30, 2024 9:26 pm Anyone who shits on the electoral college knows nothing about why we have it. A simple popular vote is a terrible idea for a nation like America (or any other for that matter) and the founders knew exactly what they were doing. There is a VERY good reason this is a representative REPUBLIC and not a democracy. It used to be well understood before the great dumbing-down really began. Of course the country was also designed for a relatively homogenous, and like-minded people. That isn’t the case by any stretch any more.

And if you think your “vote” for one of the two candidates they offer you in this one party system is anything more than a joke at this point you are pretty ignorant of how it works.

There are no parties. It’s a “poll” not a vote anyway. We don’t vote for anyone. Even if we did, it wouldn’t matter at this point. They all play for the same team.

If the last four years (or 50+ for that matter) has taught us anything it is that it doesn’t even matter if we have a president. It makes zero difference which asshole gives a speech now and then. This country hasn’t been of, by, or for the people for a long, long time. The fake outrage between the parties is a tv show, folks. Jerry Springer for the masses.

Are elections “rigged”? Was the election “stolen”? News flash…they are ALL “rigged” and they don’t need to be “stolen” because they are fake anyway. That’s just more bullshit keep everyone fighting over morning. Coke ba Pepsi, McDonalds vs Burger King.”my” team vs “your” team. It’s all bullshit at this point.

If you care at all focus on who is running the show locally. You might see a difference in your life. The Fed Gov is a juggernaut and it ain’t stopping or even slowing down for your fake vote.

Who will win the election? Not us.

You’re an idiot.

This mentality is how Democrats lose elections.
Looking at it objectively, do you see how absurd your statement is?

Objectively, there's a difference between the causal Trump voter and the nut-job MAGA cultist. If you think it's just about half the country being stupid and racist, you'll never win an election in this country again. It also tells me you spend too much time online and don't talk to people in real life much.

If Kamala loses, the Democrats are going to go through a major reevaluation to determine why their message isn't connecting and why they're losing the working class. Hopefully, we'll get another Bill Clinton out of it.

The problem with your statement is since 2016 we've learned that half your country (or at least around 38%) IS racist and/or stupid. And you're wrong about never winning the election - Kamala Harris will be elected President, although it may take a week or two to finalize it.

Hope you good Americans are safe tomorrow. Don't get caught up in something stupid.

Biden kept Trump's tariffs on China in place. And then placed additional tariffs on top of it. But you didn't have a problem with that, right?

With the purpose being to essentially stop Chinese imports altogether. I'm not 100% sure as I was not following closely, but I think a large part of this was to prevent inexpensive Chinese electric vehicles from coming in to compete with American EV automakers. Tariffs can have a positive impact, but not in all cases.

Bill Clinton? Cereal?

I live in a battleground state with nonstop campaign ads on TV.

None of the Trump ads say "Jan.6 was great, wasn't it? Let's do it again!"

The ads focus on inflation and immigration while showing clips of Kamala saying Bidenomics is working, she wants to fund sex-change surgeries for prisoners to "advance the agenda", illegal immigrants aren't breaking the law, and there are no differences between her and Biden that she can think of.

Inflation is high. Most Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction. In those situations, it's historically VERY hard for an incumbent to stay in office.

I know some of you on this board don't want to accept this, but it's the main shit that's driving votes to Trump.

Kamala failed to control the narrative and overcome her weaknesses. She's also bad on interviews, which doesn't help. I like Tim Walz, but it's starting to become apparent he was a weak choice. He flubbed the VP debate.

And just because I point out the above, it doesn't mean I'm defending Trump. I already voted for Kamala and would never vote for Trump based on Jan. 6 alone (although I have major issues with the GOP on guns, abortion, the Supreme Court, and other things). But this election isn't about voters like me. It's about those who aren't glued to the news 24/7 and just have an impression that things were better a few years ago.

There’s an old saying: Nobody wins in a trade war. Trump and later Biden proved that to be correct.

There is nothing positive about tariffs. They are a tax on the consumer which we already have plenty of those.

You do know that Biden kept Trump's tariffs on China in place, right? And then placed additional tariffs on top of it? But you didn't have a problem with that though, right?
With the purpose being to essentially stop Chinese imports altogether. I'm not 100% sure as I was not following closely, but I think a large part of this was to prevent inexpensive Chinese electric vehicles from coming in to compete with American EV automakers. Tariffs can have a positive impact, but not in all cases.

There’s an old saying: Nobody wins in a trade war. Trump and later Biden proved that to be correct.

There is nothing positive about tariffs. They are a tax on the consumer which we already have plenty of those.
I was going to try clarifying my point, or maybe I'm just dumb. I am tapping out. I voted. I'm done. A decade of political insanity and 24/7 bullshit cycles has worn me out. I began writing but figured, whatever, at this juncture. The only reason I have no social media. I come here for band stupidity and hilarity but get sucked into these threads. I'm not taking my ball and going home. I'm just tired of this version of everything. I've got no more debate in me unless it is about the Bullet Boys best song or some band's singer's "foot thing."

That makes no sense, but that's par for the course with your kind.
