Sarah "Pain". What a serendipitous typo.

The left didn't have to villainize her - she did a fine enough job herself of proving to the world that she was a retarded dipshit. Republicans weren't uniformly in love with her either, btw. Read/watch Game Change. Read something next time before you launch into one of your interminable vomitous screeds.
That was on purpose to see if you'd read more than 2 lines.

Threads like this are a great way to ultimately make posting a more enjoyable experience. The fast that all he took away from all of that was a typo speaks volumes, haha.

He’s probably ruining to YouYube to give my Hotter Than Hell remix a thumbs down.

Of course I’m joking. This place used to be funny.

BTW, Sarah Palin herself had nothing to do with the point I was making and anyway she is far from the worst female candidate ever used to pander for votes. For the record, my wife and I took an Alaskan Cruise back in 2009 and everyone we ran into up there really seemed to love her as a governor. I’m sure she’d smarter than most people on this board, haha.

No need to read all that. The real reason he “won” is because he was the one picked to steer the public unrest in whichever direction it’s suppose to go at this point.

Lots of reasons why everyone is acting like a bunch of morons it all though and that’s an interesting discussion.

Why the hell do people even discuss this shit online? It’s half the reason this placed emptied out years ago.

You should see the election thread on my Nextdoor app. Holy shit. It’s scarier than that sex offender app.

Really poor from the Democrats. They offered nothing other than more of the same, not being Trump and being pro choice. Those maybe are all fine if you were already a Democrat voter, but not enough for the independents. Cozying up to the Never Trump Republicans also didn't work.

They put up the cult leader. Trump got less votes than last time but still won. Many stayed home, uninspired by the choice they had. Over a billion dollars the Democrats took in, wonder where it all went.

Missouri is 60/40 red, but like other states had a "pro choice" amendment that still passed. Exactly why many (most) issues should be determined by states right in the first place.

Thats a fair point, and the fact that a bunch of states that had an amendment on their ballots for abortion had it pass, shows that voters felt they could vote for that and still vote for Trump. Voters are often more complex than what the experts think.

Thank God. Most "experts" think voters are as complex as a two-piece puzzle.

I don't buy into deep state nonsense like that, but most Trumpers do.

There's a actually a ton of truth in this article. I've said for years that the right wing media apparatus has played a massive role for where we're at at in politically in this country and this article does a great job of showing the specifics and examples that clearly show this. I's even more sobering than I though. They lie and manipulate and the people eat it up because the lot of them aren't that smart and don't question anything.

Yep... just like the idiots in KY who like Obamacare, but hate Obama, and vote for Trump.

Actually, it supports my point. The right vilified Kamala 24/7 portraying her (and Biden) as evil and incompetent. People that watch those channels believe it with all their hearts. Trust me, I know some of them.

The right ran with a story in the final weeks (totally made up) that Hurricane Helene aid was not available because it had been given to illegal immigrants. People were interviewed repeating it as the gospel even though there was no truth to it whatsoever. Her decline in polls directly coincided with it.

Go watch any of "The Good Liars" videos on YouTube at Trump rallies. They ask why they're voting for Trump and why they don't like Kamala. They can't even put together a coherent answer. They don't know the issues.

So they might not even know what issues Kamala supports vs Trump, they just vote Trump and then they vote on a particular issue. Not any more complex than that.

For a guy supposedly without a horse in this race, you sure have opinions which always lean hard into one direction, the right. Just like Joe Rogan.

A lot of people have had a pretty good idea how shit actually works long before there were Trumpsters walking around. Like at least since the 60s for the modern era. If you think the people at the top don’t all golf and orgy together, you’re naive, haha and I’m not talking Qtards and kids in sewers shit. It’s literally the WWE. That’s irrelevant though.

The right wing media has played a role? But not the left? That’s funny. Keep thinking there is a right and a left in leadership and you’ll keep coming to silly conclusions. Did it ever dawn on you that maybe certain information leads people towards one particular camp over another and not the other way around? Maybe people shift their views based on information everyone else isn’t aware of? That goes for the left and not just the right. When I see people crying and terrified of Trump being elected I have to wonder what the fuck they’ve been told and who they are listening to because it can’t be based in reality. No one likes to “lose” so that immediate rush of anger is understandable, but the fear is really, really weird. Literally NOTHING is going to “happen” to them because of this election. Some of the crying I guess is the black pill thing where they’ve been told that only a really really horrible person would ever vote for Trump, so to see millions do it must be a horrible feeling. Most reasonable people should understand that the VAST majority of Americans on “both sides” are “live and let live” types. You know, actual “liberals”. Overall America is probably the most tolerant nation in the world. The fringe makes for better tv ratings and better memes, but it’s just a cartoon.

Elections do sort of show what the mood of country is (if any of the numbers can be trusted) so there is some value there, but the leaders don’t give two fucks about any of what we have to say. Everything that has happened in the last several decades is all according to plan. There have been people talking and writing about the specifics for years and years and it wasn’t guesswork (most countries we’ve had beef with have a lot of common and it isn’t Islam). It’s pretty easy to see once you know what to look for. Orwell was no prophet, he was an insider. As long as everyone yells “conspiracy theory” any time someone mentions shadow governments, etc nothing will ever change. The only thing I take comfort in is that “they” still continue lie to us. When they stop needing to lie, that’s when the real trouble starts.
