Jake shot saving his dog
Jake E Lee posted this to his fb earlier today, now claiming they were shooting at his dog, not him.
Hope everyone’s enjoying their Thanksgiving. I’ve been debating on publicly talking about getting shot and have decided that it would probably be good for me. Somewhat therapeutic, and by documenting it I can more easily put it behind me. And you might find parts of it interesting! At first it seemed too daunting but then I realized I can do it in parts. Like this:
We were about 50ft apart when I heard the shots. I quickly realized he wasn’t aiming at me. He was aiming at my dog! I threw my end of the leash at Coco and yelled to go home. He did. He’s a good boy.
The first shot to hit me was in my left forearm. Entered about an inch below the elbow on the underside. Exited topside. It felt like a burn. Not particularly painful, just like a quick burning sensation. I thought it must have been a graze. Fortunately it missed any bones, and my elbow joint, and has healed remarkably quickly. The scars aren’t much bigger or darker than some of my age spots and I’d probably have to point them out for you to notice. All the fingers still move well. Initially lost the feeling on the back of my hand but it has been slowly coming back.
In the spirit of giving thanks, I am most thankful my dog wasn’t hurt, and also the damage to my fretting arm was minimal. Unlike the other wounds, which I’ll get to in Part 2. Don’t really have pics of my arm so you get another Coco pic!

Maybe he forgot to pay his vet bill for the dog.

This guy must be really stupid. That's the dumbest story I've ever heard. No wonder Ozzy and Sharon screwed him over. He's such an idiot, it'd be hard not to just for kicks, not unlike Bob Daisley.

Re: Jake shot saving his dog
I am not saying this... but... it sounds a bit fishy. Just as it did from the start.
Especially when, the statement was released soon after the incident, but they made sure to say something like "There will be no further statement", etc..
Then a few days later, we get some random, late night FB post where he dangles part of the details but not the full story.
Then a few days later... a bit more. And little by little, he's leaked little parts of it, and it just sounds a bit odd.
I am not saying it didn't happen, or he wasn't shot... but... everything surrounding it... is a clusterf#@k.
It's like one of these scenes we see on Cops, or Live Patrol and after an accident, arrest or incident, the Cops are asking: "What happened?"
Then they interview the Victim, the Witness, and the Family, and 3/4 of them are low-rent hillbilly types or ghetto trash and they can't give a straight answer.

Yeah, all logical thinking points to this being a drugs deal gone wrong or a debt not being paid for a long time...

Re: Jake shot saving his dog
He explained in another post why he walks his dog at that time. Whats not to believe? I think its funny that some people on here claimed "Its a drug deal gone bad", or he "owed his dealer money"..lol Jake is 67 years old...he's well past the age of making bad drug deals. I was lucky enough to hang with Jake last December at Eddie Trunks 40th Anniversary in Radio party and he couldn't have been cooler. Super down to earth, and pretty damn funny. He came down to our table and hung for a bit. He's a super nice guy who has more integrity than 99% of the people in the shitty music biz.

Where's Phil Varone's drug dealer? Perhaps Jake failed to garnish Phil Varones paycheck and now he finally got even with Jake.El Vampiro Blanco wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 1:35 amYeah, all logical thinking points to this being a drugs deal gone wrong or a debt not being paid for a long time...

I don't know, but I still have a feeling that drugs were involved . . .
