Axl Rose settled his Sheila Kennedy lawsuit
Saw it on Rolling Stone just now. Still maintains his innocence but paid her an undisclosed amount to go away and not come back. Figured he would but why did it take so long?

Wonder what the ramifications for assaulting and/or raping Erin Everly and Stephanie Seymour were.Cindy Buzzedimisa wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 10:16 am Saw it on Rolling Stone just now. Prolly less $ than the fines for going onstage late.

She deserves every dime. Most G & R fans will agree that Axel is an unhinged asshole from time to time.

If the time is 1984 and beyond to now, yes, I do agree to that.TravisBicklesMohawk wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 1:12 pm She deserves every dime. Most G & R fans will agree that Axel is an unhinged asshole from time to time.
Actually I dont know anything past when he didnt do any press for his 15 years in the making album and let Slash and Duff back in the band. maybe his meds have him leveled out now.

I think I saw or read something where she was apologetic about the lawsuit. And it seemed like she was making a plea to Axl because she was desperate for cash

It was obvious this was a cash grab. I don't feel sorry for Axl though. Sounds like he bounced her around that whole hotel room.Don't Damn Me wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 11:02 am I think I saw or read something where she was apologetic about the lawsuit. When you write a song as perfect as Estranged you get to do stuff like that and rightfully so.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 12:22 pmWonder what the ramifications for assaulting and/or raping Erin Everly and Stephanie Seymour were.Cindy Buzzedimisa wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 10:16 am Saw it on Rolling Stone just now. They need to re-write the assault/rape laws anyway. It should be something like if the two people know eachother then it can no longer be considered rape. Forced sex on an acquaintance should merely be considered pestering and come with a 40 dollar fine on the third offense.
