Love Lonnie, hope he's well, but I would wager this is to make a couple bucks and then split as soon as he gets high.

Speaking of BB’s, do they have one good song after the first album?

The second album is good even if it doesn't have an obvious hit like Smooth Up in Ya.

In near future news, Lonnie Vencent has parted ways with the Bulletboys. We wish him the best.

They have lots of good songs.
Here’s probably my favorite track they’ve released in the last decade.

IMO, 3rd album ZaZA is the most consistent.

I love the press photo of Marq, some random guy and another guy that doesn't even look like Lonnie that actually IS Lonnie!

I'm not saying they were a studio creation. I'm just saying nothing they did matched that first record. Marq is actually a really good singer and frontman. Even a good guitar player. The songs just aren't there! Can anyone list any songs after the first record worth listening to twice?

That whole camp is so fucked up and dysfunctional. Most of which stems from Marq who is undeniably talented but has serious bi-polar and drama creating issues as well as a serious dilutional perception as to Bulletboys' (and his own) place on the food chain within the 80's rock genre and overall importance / significance.

As for Lonnie, nice guy and all but from all understandings is a perpetual fuck up. I get the motivation and thinking in bringing him back as an original member but they are missing the point that it's a bad decision based on his history w/ substance abuse and being an overall fuck up. People like that don't change, they just get older. LOL

Marq is yelling at me now in my IG DM's for saying that "Ira Black and Brad Lang quit".

Which, I have on a quality source they in fact did quit...

I am trying to sew up a detail or two...

in the meantime... I agree their first 2 (not 3) albums were great. And talent is abound in that camp... but for ALL of the reasons noted above, it's bound to implode over and over.

Marq is not playing with a full deck... and I know from personal experience... oh well... Hi Marq, if you happened to be reading this!

Saw Marq, with D'Anda, some bass player amd Nick Rozz as Bulletboys maybe 10-15 years ago. They were damn good. Not sure whatever happened to Rozz but he seemed to fit well. Reminded me of AVJ. Younger dude in sludge band that just worked.

Remember when Marq said he was going to end Bulletboys, but “Ira Black made him” continue? As if he was gonna give up his only way of making rent.

If Ira quit, then it’s definitely time to end the band and go tend bar or something, right?

Ira looks like he should be in a black metal band not Bulletboys!

It's the standard... where some members say "We quit" and the other side is "They were Fired" and so on.

I am going to guess that Lonnie won't last six months before it falls apart. The better part of me says three months, but I guess we'll see.

It’s almost 2025.

Marq said he would have a radio hit again (this was a couple of years ago - and discussed at length here) and open for the Foo Fighters.

Now their colossal screw up is back playing bass. As others have said. Give it 3-6 months.

What is the most likely to happen in 2025?
I’m completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. These two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

Pretty amazing it’s almost 2025 and I can see 1/2 original Bulletboys line up that opened Flesh N Blood tour to 10,000
Still have great memory buying ZaZa at Tower Records opening it and blasting it down Sunset Blvd of Fresno

Probably seen Bulletboy 50x with different versions of Bulletboys over the “DECADES” 8)

Never seen Kik Tracee or Asphalt Ballet- MTV Bulletboy life- it’s all good
GoodGirl best Bulletboys song
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"
