Hollywood is out of ideas. They need to make an alternate history version where he gets laughed off stage and writes songs for others, but the world never has to suffer hearing his shitty voice.

Absolutely zero interest in this.

Way too late... anyone who still cares is probably in (adult) diapers, if they're still alive.

Looks interesting. He's got the mannerisms down. The relationship with Johnny Cash looks cool.

Chalamet has a better voice than Dylan. That's pathetic.

Yeah. I don't recall Dylan with all the vibrato.

Not interested in any way.

I've never seen a Hollywood biopic on a musician that was any good. You can include The Doors, Johnny Cash biopics in that as well.

Up on the big screen the actors look so FAKE going through FAKE manufactured rock scenes.

Everything I've seen has been complete crap! Its all been just complete SHIT!

It'll remain a complete unknown for me, too. Couldn't care less.

So do you people just not care about Dylan, or a Hollywood movie about Dylan.

As for Dylan, he, along w/ the Stones and Johnny Cash were big influences growing up. Not so much his lyrical content, but his arrangements, lyrcis, and somewhat oddballness. A friend told me that growing Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 made him feel like he was at a strip club, whatever that meant, but it made sense.

As for the movie, I LOVE to sit back with a big ass bowl of popcorn in a theater (not on my couch) and be entertained, and not being much of a superhero or animation fan there hasn't been many movies that interest me. And this did just that....entertained me. I don't care if it's not 100% accurate, blah blah blah.....It's a good story with great actors and moves along nicely.

Ignore the fact that it's about Dylan and just go see a movie.

This. I get tired of computer generated effects, etc....I will take a movie like this any day of the week. A huge popcorn, giant soda, and I am happy for a couple hours. Have tix to see this tonight.

Both. Why would I waste money to see a movie about an artist I cannot stand or don't care for? I didn't see the one about the dead junkie chick either.

Definitely gonna see this, expect it to be good but far from great. Dylan is so idiosyncratic it's hard to avoid imitation or even parody.

Dylan himself is of course the greatest artist of his generation. Brilliant as a writer, singer and performer. But all the people here who only like sugarcoated or bombastic nonsense probably know better.
