I have a Epiphone's, Gibson's, and Fenders, and there are two Epiphone's that just have that feel. Sound wise, I am def more of a Fender guy.

It's like choosing one food. Kinda impossible. Gun to my head, bury me with a strat but there's nothing like the tone of a Les Paul (or V, SG or Explorer) through a Marshall. My 'number one' for a long time was a Tele with filtertron pickups.
So for the poll:
Fender

Hard to say: fenders sounds the best, but gibsons/epiphones play the best for me.

It really depends on the body style, and how well it stays in tune, rather than the brand for me. I do tend to prefer strats with a humbucker in the bridge.

I chose Fender, but my MexiStrat is a mutt now after gutting the insides, upgrading the pickups, and replacing the neck with a fully scalloped one from Warmoth (complete with Schallers).
My acoustic is a Washburn (used to have a Fender, Yamaha, and a Seagull) and it plays/sounds great.

Parker, cuz they are light weight & sound good enough for what I do.

Only a Gibson is good enough.

Vintage 50s Dan Electro U2, as well as a 2000s reissue.
The action on the reissue is the lowest of any guitar I've ever played.
It's unreal. It should buzz and fret out, but it doesn't.
The 2nd lowest was a vintage Martin acoustic about thirty years ago.

I have mostly Gibsons, but my BC Rich is my go-to.

Schecters have been good to me.
Jackson has my favorite neck.
Gibson has the sound, although my $450 Epiphone sounds better than the $3000 Gibson I bought and sold.
My Strat will Dimarzio’s sounds a amazing.

My most-played guitars are my Epiphone semi-hollows. I have a 1962 Reissue Sheraton that is probably my overall best guitar.
Next to that, I got a Nash strat with my gubbiment covid money that is my favorite Fender-style object.
All of the actual Gibsons I own range from mediocre to absolute shite, and my best fenders are Squiers, tho I have this one Mex tele that I have done a lot of work on that is pretty choice now.

I own an Epiphone, Ibanez, and Yamaha. Like all three. Very different. Used to own a BC Rich. Loved it. Had a Washburn Strat style. Sucked.

Strats are the best design ever.

I have a Les Paul, SG, and Telecaster. Love them all. For acoustic I prefer my Taylor.
Re: What is your favorite brand of guitar to play ( for you guitar players )
I used to think that...but the whammy bar is kind of useless for anything aside from divebombs. I prefer a Bigsby these days.
To be fair, a well set up Floyd will do anything that a Bigsby will, but you can't just walk into a classic Americana band (or whatever) with a superstrat.

Epiphone.
I got a Epi Sheraton Pro II with split coil humbuckers and had my guy do some fret work on it, and then I put on locking tuners and Les Trem like this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8doS0HvVh0
Been hanging out in guitar stores for 50 years, and I've played a Gibson that tops it.

That is a beautiful guitar man. Wow that's the exact model I want too, without the Floyd. I bet that neck is sweet.

I like my Gibson SG Special with it's ebony neck and crescent moon inlays. If I could afford it I'd buy one of those '68 Les Paul Custom reissues in ebony

Epiphone SG Standard. It isn't heavy, I like the overall feel, love the look, and I liked the sound of it just as much, maybe more than, a few of the other SGs and Les Pauls - some Gibson, some Epiphone - and Telecasters I tried out that day. Great bang for the buck.
Thinking of picking up a strat later this year, but will also try a Yamaha Pacifica. I know a guy that was set on a Fender Stratocaster - mid-range model - and ended up walking out with a higher end Yamaha that was still a lot cheaper than the Fender. Said that he just liked the sound, "playability", and how it felt in his hands.

Playability and sound is off the charts.
I also own this.
It comes pretty close to the EB.
