New Led Zeppelin movie

Post by eddie lee roth »

Just watched the movie Becoming Led Zeppelin in IMAX.

It’s a good show around two hours if you like the band you’ll like the movie.

Glad I saw it the way I did and they had the volume pumping.

I watched it last night too. Very well done. I learned some new stuff about them, especially Page. I didn't want it to end & I'd love to see at least one more movie made.

I've said it before but the way to go would be to make a movie about Peter Grant and his various henchmen from the insane era of Led Zeppelin. That would include Richard Cole, John Bindon and John Bonham, detailing how drunk, druggy and volatile those guys were.

As great as they were musically, I think a movie about the band themselves would probably be hard to make interesting. At least to a wide audience.

I did a tour where Richard Cole was out road-managing the opening act (Quireboys).

He had cleaned up and was just sort of a charming older guy who wore stylish suits and stuff.

I wish I had given a fuck at the time, I'm sure I could have gotten some great stories out of him.

I don’t like Led Zeppelin
I don’t like movies very much anymore
Both are boring in 2025
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"
